I tend to be a bit of a Grammar Nazi sometimes... Internally, anyway. Sorry. XD

You corrected my "mind"... into "miand"...
What?

Bahaha sorry this stupid touchpad clicks random places when I don't want it to XD

Second page! Dear god. That reminded me of one of the worst sayings ever. "First!" The person who says that is NEVER first and it bugs the shit outta me

Let's see... My friend has the bad habit of tacking on "Like a ninja!" to the end of every sentence; sometimes it's really annoying.
Also, "Well, no offense, but..." Do you honestly believe that saying that makes whatever you say non-offensive?

Ah, "no offense"... :gant-clap: This reminds me of Sociology class when I was in college. We were discussing race--very risky to begin with--when a black woman interjected, "I don't want to start anything, but...this man is a racist." Seeing as how the man she was talking about happened to be white, he was damned no matter what he said in his own defense. Needless to say, the discussion quickly came to resemble the Jerry Springer Show.

A small phrase:
"It really is/isn't/does/doesn't."

It just really grinds my gears when said in a certain way and tone. I heard it a lot back in school.

I also find the acronym "SMH", which stands for "shake my head", incredibly annoying. I see it a lot on facebook.

"Yeah? Well, I'd like to see you do better."
No. No. That's not fair. If I can't make a comic or video due to lack of materials or creativity, that's doesn't mean you can post any old shit. Imagine a critic complaining about a movie and a fan responding like this. It sounds pretentious. Although it is funny when people respond to Retsupurae like this, when, in fact, Slowbeef is doing all three Metroid Primes, and Diabetus is doing Metroid Fusion.

So everyone took off their shirts and started fighting? Awesome!

"If your not in you can't win"
"Your some man for one man!"
"I personally believe..."
"Fiscal year"
"Failed government"
"Grassroots"
"Failed economy"

I will just die if I have to hear those words ever again.

Seconded. I hear this shit ALL the time.

((Off-topic and all, but isn't telling someone who was essentially the creator of the whole damn phenomena "I'd like to see you do better" ...immensely stupid?))

Well, It's not a saying per se, but more of a general statement.
Like, I hate it when people state the obvious.
'It's raining'
'You're tall, aren't you?'
'You've had your hair cut'
It's like, I know...you dont have to tell me.

"At the end of the day". Annoys the hell out of me, especially when people use it in EVERY SINGLE SENTENCE. Also, that starving kids in Africa thing is just stupid and makes no sense. If there are hungry kids, shouldn't we not eat the food so that they can?

I hate it when someone does a "Chuck Norris" line.
Crap like "Chuck Norris doesn't do push ups. He pushes the Earth down."

"Get over yourself." - I've only ever encountered this phrase when someone is losing an argument. Just because you are unable to lose an argument with grace.

"Calm down." - A sure fired way to wind anyone up quickly.

"Take your ears out." - 1) They're headphones. 2) My mum says this to me EVERY time i listen to my ipod.

Your school years are the best years of your life.

Maybe it was different for the all-around popular kids and clique leaders, but I experienced school as a form of protracted torture. Grade school was literally a war zone, junior high nearly drove me insane, high school was depressing, and college severely crippled me financially. As a 20-something, I do not regret being finished with school in the least. The quality of my life has vastly improved since I left school behind and it would be even better if I had spent less time there.

"You're ugly". That just bothers me. I'm beating you in an argument and you try to lower my morale. Thanks ass-hat.
"You should be grateful that you're still so young". No. I want a real job, not just mooching off my parents, if for no other reason than to buy what I want for clothes or food. And being young sucks. Awesome. Great. High school. I hear people start drugs there. Sell drugs there. Hell, I hear one kid missed a year of school for rehab. His sophomore year, to be specific.

"That's what she said."
I cannot freaking STAND when people use that - and think it's funny! STFU.

"No offense" (I think I saw this one up on the page as well xD) Irritating. Just because you place that in front of an obvious insult, doesn't make you any less of a douche. "No offense, but you're really damn annoying!"

"Why are you so crabby?" When you're not talking, having a bad day, and people ask why you're crabby. My mood was decent until you insisted I had a problem. >_>

"Are you there?" -Constantly, when you set 'away' on MSN. NO IM OBVIOUSLY NOT THERE.

Some people. Rofl.

"Oh my God!"

It's OK when you speak English, but using that when you speak Dutch or anything else is ridiculous. Especially if the one who says doesn't even believe in God anyway...

I also get annoyed when anyone says "If you listen to your heart..." or "Deep in my heart I know...". People, the heart is a muscle and it pumps blood around your body, there is no emotion going on in there...

I have a new one with added explanation!

Because me and my OLDER brother look the same we usually get comments like "Hey, are you brothers?" and stuff like that, but what really offsets me is "OMG R y00 TWINZ?"

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twin

As I quote from the god of all knowledge, Wikipedia "Twins develop from one zygote and forms two embryos or develops from two different eggs fertilized by two different sperm." This would not make us twins, besides we have a 3 1/2 age difference.

Don't think it's been said yet but...

So's your Face

And yer maw (your mother to some)

If I had a time machine I would go back and eradicate the people who invented these phrases.

Also an annoying one in my house.

"This House is not a Democracy!"

Popular with Dad when anyone argues with him.
