I'm currently in the middle of a re-read of Homestuck and so many more things are making sense and I'm finding so many parts where they say something completely off-the-wall that somehow happens later.the beginning of Act 5 part 2 is so amazingly hilarious and awesome with Karkat's rage sessions with himself. I also find it interesting how the overall tone of the comic has changed so much since the beginning.

Like, at first it was just this derpy kid (John) doing accurately childish things, then once he comes to the important realization when he reaches his dad's room, the clockwork of maturity begins to slowly tick forward. Then somewhere around the first pchoooo (and the following events,) it shows more signs of gaining maturity and it keeps deepening as we go further and further. In a way, Rose's condition throughout the adventure can kinda be used to measure the seriousness at a given point in time.

I kinda miss when they were just kids escaping plush rumps, applying arms to harlequin dolls via cake, and dealing with general parental strife, but a part of me says that they needed to grow up. Like, isn't that what Sburb is supposed to be all about? Saying goodbye to the old and beginning the new?
I find the premise of the game that they are playing to be very interesting.

Wow, I really did a long rambling ramble. Anyways, I recently made a "chapter begin" picture for a game that I'm working on using Hussnasty style (or pretty darn close to that style). It felt strange not using outlines, but I think it turned out pretty well for using a mouse.

My favorite Troll is Gamzee of course.

Ohoho. I just found this.

My friends goaded me into Homestuck back at the end of January and I just could not stop reading. It took me two weeks to fully catch up and since then I have become SUCH a fan.

My favorite character is Dirk Strider because he is just so cool. Like, ultra cool. It is unreal how cool he is.

Favorite flash is obviously the one where he rises up. Though the Rap-Off and Revelation of the Plan are also my favorites.

As for the trolls, I identify with Karkat the most because he gets very angry, especially with himself. Though I also like Nepeta, Equius, and Vriska...

I started around the same time and it took me about a month or so.

Dirk and Dave are my two favourite characters and Karkat's my fave troll. I do have a soft sport for Eridan though...

Favourite flash is Cascade and then Descend.
