It's more of a way to write undefined, which is different then zero. I don't think there is any way X can be right in the equation, since, according to the notation, is 0/100x. Actually, Zet, 0/x=0. x/0 would be undefined. You can have a zero in the numerator.

kenjimurasme
x= 19 and -7
19-7 =19+-7
+ and - = -
therefore
19-7 = 19-7
12 = 12
= i win?

If there existed a mightier ellipsis than the ellipsis, this would be the situation to use it in.

Perhaps an ellipsis of ellipses.

I'd go and search out Douglas Adams and kill him if he wasn't already dead.
Good luck in math class answering everything 42.

EDIT: As for the first equation, assuming that the =0 should be behind, it's..

((x^3)-28x(2x^3-28x))/(100x)=0
x = 0
or x = -3.73274
or x = 3.7506

.. Yeah, that was useless.

Good God this reminds me of maths class at high school. Horrible blush-making flashbacks. Ack!

I couldn't even do long division until I was 12.

And here I was thinking that I was surrounded by a bunch of smart people. Hah! Fear my logic-ness! So lets see here...

x-7=19-x

Hmmm. Well, obviously, as has been priorly pointed out, solving the above algebraiclly gives you 0=26, and well, theres something a little odd about that. Im sure some professor somewhere is investigating this phenomenon further, but I sure as hell dont know what to do. Taking a step back, though, we remember that this is a phoenix wright fansite, and in so realizing we realize how to approach this problem. We will simply have to...look outside the box.

:mia: Go get em, tiger!

In any case...its Brandontime.

x-7=19-x

There is definately something wrong with these numbers. We can safely assume that this is not, in fact, meant to be read as shown. Instead, taking a different tack, I will take out my cellphone and plug in the numbers as a text message.

wp.ww

Still, this hasnt helped much. We must do something else...maybe...flip them over? After doing so, we get:

mmdm

And to finish the process, convert it into cellphone number form once more:

6676

The devils number with the magic number in the middle. Or not. Perhaps it is a seven digit phone number? 719-6676? Unfortunatly, I dun wanna call anyone right now. Google searching it brings up the name Sally Tyler. Sally Tyler is the Director of Annual Giving, from some place called Capa, which is found, strangely enough, on Capa.com. (coincidence? I think not!) We have now established a tie—a connection between Sally Tyler and this bamboozling problem here on CR. We must be on the right track. "X" is near. In fact, looking at her full number...

614-719-6676

The new number we have achieved is 614. And that is the answer we have been seeking.

x=614

Case closed, your honor. Well? Im right, arent I?
