My life can be summed up like this: God, Family, School, Homework, Drawing, and Video Games. I haven't really made a whole lot of really close friendships with people. Though that's not to say I'm a TOTAL shut-in. I may conversate with people around me, but I just don't have too many close friendships. It's wierd because I've usually been ok with that. Maybe because the friendships I do have I try to keep nearest and dearest to me.

As of lately (about over the past 1 to 3 years) I'm still satisfied with how I live but I'm starting to realize I could enjoy my life so much more if I could build more friendships with others. I'll admit, it's a little hard for me, and it's certainly not made any easier by the fact that I'm socially awkward in school and I don't have a lot in common with the classmates I have. A lot of my classmates talk about television shows that I don't watch or don't care to watch because I don't watch whole lot of television in general. Also, about 99% of the gamers in my class are absolutely OBSSESSED with XBox 360. I'm probably a minority on this one, but I don't have any XBox systems (I've been more of a Sony/Nintendo guy).

As for all that "boyfriend-girlfriend" stuff, yeaaah I'm not very experienced in that field either. It's the same thing here, I've just been really satisfied without a girlfriend and I never put too much thought into it, and the girls that I've been around just don't appear very relatable. Though I did have an unrequited love for a girl once, it ended up being the most embarrassing and probably most shameful experience in recent memory. It was mostly my fault it was so awkward because I was constantly trying to talk with her and hang out with her, and it came off as a bit stalker-ish. So after I finally got over it and learned the mistakes that I made, I tried to completely distance myself from girlfriend relationships entirely.

As of recently, like I've said before, I'm starting to realize my life could be even more enjoyable if I just opened myself up a little more. One thing I've learned about my personality is that I love seeing other people happy because of something I've done for them. Which is why I have a habit of doing random acts of kindness for people like lending money to people with no lunch, holding doors for others, etc. So when I apply that personality trait to my social life, I start to think that maybe finding a girl that I can relate to and place my trust and kindness in could help me enjoy life just a little more.

Again, more things about you that are similar to me...except I watch lots of tv and I have real life friends...they're just so far away that it hurts, and that's why I tried to be strong. And I only play with nintendo consoles.

And I believe in God, but I am kind of anti-religion, I'm kind of too afraid to step foot in a church even though my grandparents want me to be a Christian. ^^; My grandparents also wished I never left New Jersey, but personally I don't like New Jersey, too many stuck up jerks. :(

This makes me wish, Sword Art Online was real...I could be with my loved ones...and maybe meet the cool people I've met on court records.

TV and ice cream sounds good actually(I'm glad I am snacking on chocolate or I would be craving it). I don't know you personally but wouldn't you still standing and trying, prove that you are a strong person by itself? It's okay to cry as long as it doesn't stop you from moving forward. :neil2:

If that make you feel better I've had this problem with school before and always talked to the teachers because I couldn't relate to the kids in my class. One thing that helped when I didn't know how to make conversation is ask questions it's short and make people want to talk a lot, people usually like when you ask things about themselves and you usually find something in common at some point. But isn't love about wanting to to be selfless for someone else? :shoe:

I usually just cry alone...or at least try not to cry in general because I hate myself when I cry. I try to be a girl who is as tough as nails.

But today I just had to vent on facebook and two of my friends wondered what was wrong...and for once, I actually told someone what was bothering me instead of keeping it in, even though I try not to because of my past.

I'm actually the same way in my school, I usually like talking to my English teacher and my Art teacher (even though she can be a little bit nit-picky about my artwork). I also try to ask questions to my friends so I can maybe start a conversation. Though for some reason, I find it easier to do at my church than at school. Probably because I've known the people at my church pretty much my entire life.

I also have to agree that love should be selfless. Love always seeks the best for the other person. It does make me want to reconsider my motives before I try to seriously take on a relationship.

Y'know, it's wierd how much I'm finding out that I'm similar to you. Maybe I'm really some sort of alternate universe version of you as a guy whose real name is Elag Okime.

As for religion, I've been raised in a Christian church pretty much my whole life. And while I think New Jersey is OK, I think there are better states I could live in. I'm considering maybe moving to Pennsylvania when I'm older. The parts of I've visited look decent, and I still want to be a little close to my family so I can still visit them from time to time.

Stress can do a lot to you and sounds like you have a lot on your mind, hopefully it will clear out soon for you. Have you tried being friends with those girls? Maybe you could all sit down and play together, they won't have to text them every time that way and everyone can have fun. :shoe:[/quote]

That's most likely what's causing these horrible feelings. Full-time student M-TH and then my part-time job of 8 hour shifts dealing in Customer Service F-Sun. My friends weren't able to hang out with me over Winter break due to their girlfriends and I knew I wouldn't be able to do anything once school started, so this is most likely why I feel so bad about friendships right now. I feel better now after venting and coming back from work, and yeah my rants came off a little dark and bitter as Pierre pointed out. I can't wait till summer starts.

But now I am interested in a man, and that man is Portgas D. Ace. Screw that little god mod from Sword Art Online.

I've never had a boyfriend. Partly because all the guys I know are either jerks or I don't share similar interests and partly because I'm too shy. :bellboy: There has only been one person I've really been interested in myself, but he kind of went out with my best friend. (^^;) He doesn't now, but you can tell he isn't interested in having another relationship. Also, I say kind of because their relationship was...weird.

Ah... good times.

I used to be a really shy person when I was little but got over that, I'm sure you'll eventually overcome it over time if you try. It took a while for me though.

I must say that kind of situation really blows, it's good to see that you didn't let it get to you.

Well I am single, mostly because I'm not that interested in a relationship. I'm 18 years old, yes, but yet I have never been in love and to be honest, I CAN wait. Guess I'm that kind of a guy who wants to find the "right" person.

No. I don't do anything indecent to them. I just crush their comfyness to oblivion when I sleep. The pillow on the right's gotten all lumpy now since the stuffing is so dense and it likes to group up irregularly in different areas of the pillow.

Sucks there's no body pillows for male characters. And I could use a new pillow since my adorable but trouble making dog keeps sitting on mine.

Although If I had the chance to take a giant card board cut out of Ace I would...even though my bedroom is small and my parents and brother would be weirded out. ^^;

It's where I got my Yoko one. Really all it is is a custom pillow case for a body pillow. They even let you submit pictures that you find so they can print the ones that you want.

That's not true look up male dakimakura, you'll find tons of pillows like this one for the ladies(Black was faster than me oh well).

I always wanted a dakimakura because it's really long and I have the tendency to hug things when I sleep and can't find long pillows in the stores I go to, too bad it's so expensive. I've always wondered if parents were not weirded out when their kids buy those.

While on topic, does anyone around you say anything about you having those pillows or are you surrounded by chill people? Out of simple curiosity because I come from a strict family who would frown at me if they ever saw me with a dakimakura.

Probably generally seen as indecent designs as opposed to violating any specific part of Christianity.

That's it, I'm moving to Italy. Anime is very mainstream in Italy.

I don't understand why some Americans find anime offensive.

Only one person has seen my Maya Shrine, and they're one of the select few who knows about mai waifu.

Mostly my roomates stay out of my room, as they're convinced I'm very peverse and that they'd find something that would traumatize them.

Now why in the hell would they think that?

Now why in the hell would they think that?

Now I am even more curious about what your Maya shrine might look like. *Imagination starts rolling*
:Hoboright:

I'm going to bet it's got a Paper mache/Floral arrangement that looks like Maya AT LEAST.

I was expecting more of a mini temple shrine where you removed the statue and replaced it with a Maya figurine, but that link seems more creative.

As a Christian, I believe in abstinence before marriage.

Of course, as said before, I'm seriously considering full asexuality.

Me too actually, being a Christian, I mean.

Although I'm not considering asexuality any time soon. I believe I'll find the right woman at some point in my life.

I'm still pretty young, and I don't want to make decisions like that too soon.

For a little relationship advice...Don't worship the person you're smitten with like a flawless God/Goddess.

You'll suffocate said person.

I think I get that way sometimes but I'm in a long distance relationship so perhaps the effect is lessened.
Not that she doesn't get the same way at times.

If I ever get a girlfriend I'll take nude semi-nude pictures of her, and have them made into dakimakura covers. That way I'll never be separated from my real life waifuuuuu.
I'm Blak, and I have shit taste.
