I know that not everyone are A holes on dating sites.. as you said, it was just a few pervs, but even so, I still wouldn't compare online dating with meeting people for the first time in real life.. because it's a whole lot easier to lie and sound wholeheartedly in text than when you're eye to eye.
Of course, online dating has a lot of benefits. Whether you are looking for a friend, girlfriend or boyfriend, you know that everyone else on the sites are looking for the same.. They are sites dedicated for that sole purpose. But even though I know that the majority are perfectly fine people, I still couldn't see myself join such a site. Not because I would be afraid of freaky people, but just liars in general.
But like you said, the people on the sites are people irl too so idk.. just my way of thinking. Online dating is getting ever so popular these days anyway, so don't let me discourage you. I suppose I'm just crazy

Since I sort of live in two places at the moment because of uni, I may try changing my location now and again to see which guys are in each area. I'd imagine you get used to seeing the same faces from the same area after a while.

Thanks :) It's weird actually, because I was coming home from uni for the weekend, which is about 2 hours away. He lives in my hometown, yet still goes to my uni. He does the 2 hour journey everyday to get to his classes. That's how we got talking because I heard him say he comes from my town, to go to my uni everyday.

Ohhhhh, right. An american thing maybe? I thought it meant like how clever you are in class haha, because we had stuff like that in our school. I see then...surely there can't be an unwritten rule for middle tiers going with higher ones? I guess it's subjective to what your preference is in looks. I plan to buy ten of these so I can study them for science. Based on what he's told us, it apparently does work between different species (a boy's dog once accidentally ate his lollipop and from then on became overly affectionate towards him). My goal is to extend further on this and study it using science. He did not know what would happen if say, a guy gives a lollipop to another guy who is completely straight. Would it cause them to go against their sexual orientation? Does it last forever once it takes effect? Can it theoretically even be used to break barriers such as social class? What about relatives? Does it work between them? What if two different people give the same person a lollipop? What if they just find a lollipop randomly on the ground? What if the lollipop is sent to someone through a package? What if the package arrives and someone takes it but it's addressed to someone else? These are questions that I plan on answering. I shall keep a record of my studies in a small notebook and back it up through Word documents and such, FOR SCIENCE!!! And hey, if it manages to go through those tests, I might even use one for myself, I just need to channel my evil mad scientist persona. Of course sometimes I might be the one experimenting to see if they'd fall in love with me but more often, I'd probably give it to someone else who doesn't know about them. THEY'LL BE MY LITTLE GUINEA PIGS.

What if the lollipop is sent to someone through a package? What if the package arrives and someone takes it but it's addressed to someone else? These are questions that I plan on answering. I shall keep a record of my studies in a small notebook and back it up through Word documents and such, FOR SCIENCE!!! And hey, if it manages to go through those tests, I might even use one for myself, I just need to channel my evil mad scientist persona. Of course sometimes I might be the one experimenting to see if they'd fall in love with me but more often, I'd probably give it to someone else who doesn't know about them. He supposedly gave one to his wife and that's how she became his wife. He only sells them to the students so I'm guessing that doesn't count as giving it to them.

Did I mention I still really like her? And that she very often comments that she thinks I'm amazingly kind, "ever so sweet" and "the most amazing guy I've met". And that she pretty much tells me anything, and lets me listen to her troubles so I can give her my advice? *Sigh*

Ahh she shouldn't say those things, unless she likes you. Otherwise, it's leading you on I think. Do you know if she likes you in that way?
