The stupid thing is, I'm normally pretty good. I'm a great essay writer. But NOT in 40 minutes! I hit major writer's block, usually on the intro. And yeah, that's true.
Spoiler: The best part is..
It's getting analyzed either tomorrow or Friday, which means everyone's gonna forget about it. Why? We have English towards the end of the day, followed up by US History. If it's Wednesday, we have Jeopardy next period, and Thursday off for Veteran's Day. If it's Friday, we're coming back from vacation, so nobody cares. Plus, US has a test, and the weekend's coming up. So either way, it'll almost be like it never happened.

Spoiler: It's not so bad, though.
The public analysis is sort of made up for because she gives the Analyzed some chocolate. Then for the Critical Lens essays that we sometimes do, she records her opinions and tips at home, and lets us listen to them by ourselves on the computer, minimizing potential humiliation.

I'm still terrified, though. :larry:

That sucks, I've done those before and they're very irritating because I need TIME to write stuff! If it's timed it comes out like crap!

Anyway, I've had some change of plans for my foreign language class. Decided to ditch Italian and go over to the other university near the one I'm at and take Japanese to fulfill the foreign language requirement. Because I miss it so much :larry:

Problem is, I have to wait till Fall 2011 because they're only offering the 102 class and you need the 101 class first, so... Yeah.

To replace that, I've decided to take a drawing class once a week for 3 hours. Hopefully there will be space open for it... If not I have to pick something else :/

Man my university is relentless with first year students...

You know what, that sounds like a good idea. I'll go contact the university and see if it's possible, but I'm not sure if they'll let me though.

I drew Shoe from exo.comics on my math homework yesterday. At the bottom of the page I put, "credit to exo.comics for drawing Shoe". Yeah.
I'm so happy!! Our Science project that was due tomorrow isn't due tomorrow! It's due next Friday!
Hugs are very nice, right? Well, some people at my school don't think that. Whenever I ask for a hug and they say no, I give them a hug. I did a man-hug with my friend. It was awesome.

My friend was playing shark, and we were sitting on top of rolled up mats that had scooted a little from the wall. William(we'll call him that, it's the same guy from my other post) had gotten into the space behind the mat and sat against the wall. After a few minutes he said, "I'm gonna play SHAAAAAAARK!" It was hilarious! The guy sitting next to me(Graham-Cracker) got pulled into the space by William, but Graham-Cracker was sitting sideways on the mat. When William was going to pull me down, I was facing the other side with my back turned to him. I ended next to Graham-Cracker(who was still in the space) with my body in a "v" shape. My upper body against the wall, my shins and feet on the rolled up mat, and my butt on the ground. It was hard to get up. I lol'ed a lot while trying to get out. :3
During Spanish class my friend(we'll call him Rile) searched up, "My butt hurts." on Google Translator in Spanish. Now Rile always says, "My butt hurts." in Spanish.
Rile gotta new nickname/middle name. We were playing soccer with the fourth-graders and he kicked the ball while some fourth-grader had it. After he kicked it he yelled, "YOU CAN'T HAVE IT!!!" Now his name is Rile "YOU CAN'T HAVE IT!!" *insert last name*.

Edit: My friend made up a song about pi and circumference and all that jazz. It's so much fun! We were learning how to find the circumference of a circle, and my friends and I started singing, "Radius, diameter, circumference, pi! 3.14159!" We're such nerds... ha...

It's okay. Our Pre-Calc class (a.k.a; my math teacher and the only girl in the class willing to crack jokes in that class) have a little saying that's repeated when we deal with a certain pi equation: πr² for the circumference of a circle, with it said in words as "Pi r squared."

The joke? "Pi r not squared, pi r round." No, pies are not squared, nor are they rectangles. But that's why we have cobblers in rectangle/square pans. (It's the same fu**ing principle and you know it!! DON'T JUDGE ME!!)

....... My Pre-Calc class is retarded...

On Tuesday, I had my last test for geology. I probably failed it, but I was so tired at the time (because I woke up from a nap right before the test) and I really couldn't care less at the time, so yeah. It probably was a disaster. I really didn't want to fail the class, but I probably will. The lab final for the class was surprisingly easy *knocks on wood* so I think I'll get a decent grade for the lab, which will boost my overall grade up, but judging from my previous test scores, it won't be much.

I'm pretty excited to almost be home free for my math class. I hope I never have to take that stupid class ever again. 4th time's the charm, right?? Don't ask... DX

I'm kinda ready for my Japanese class to be over, mostly because there's a really, really annoying kid in the class. His know-it-all-ness is getting on my nerves. He thinks he knows more about the language and culture than my instructor, who was actually born and raised in Japan. I'm just hoping this kid isn't going to be in my 102 class (luckily they have two different times for it).

I got an email back from the foreign language department at the other university where I wanted to take Japanese, and they said I could take the 102 class! And no placement test!

... Now my 3 years of Japanese in high school won't go to waste :D

We had a stinger party today. Stingers are this slip of paper that teachers give you if they catch you being good, and if you had three, you could go to the party. I had three stingers, and I PARTIED HARD.
First we played tag on the dancefloor, bu then it got boring. Then William and Jason started t-bagging people. I tried to t-bag William, but he's so friggin' tall that he elbowed me on my nose where the bridge of my glasses was. At least I wasn't wearing the ones I had before! We started doing power slides. It was fun. Then the DJ played some songs, and we danced like crazy! The DJ played the Chicken Dance, and almost everybody danced it except for me. I taught my friends how to do this thing where you hold hands(one person with their arms crossed) and you spin around. It more of a two-person thing. When I played it with a couple of my other friends, they took big steps when you're supposed to take small fast steps. I asked Jason if he wanted to try it, but I got rejected. =(
Jason was carrying Graham-Cracker on his back when Davis(that's what we'll call him) pushed Jason's head back so that Jason fell on his butt and Graham-Cracker landed behind him. Davis, William, and I both burst out laughing. Even Jason and Graham-Cracker started laughing, too.
During 2nd period I realized something on the knee of my pants. There was a hole about an inch big with dried blood lining the sides. Then I saw an old scab that I probably made bleed when I was power sliding. So now I have two holes, one on each knee, and one lined with blood on my pants. My mom's gonna either kill me or get out the belt. ={
We had market today. It's where you buy and sell homemade items using the fake money that we have. Jason was selling "Ringies" with Davis and Graham-Cracker. Ringies are basically a fabric ball with a bell inside of them. Jason, Davis and Graham-Cracker went around advertising Ringies. They held Ringies in their hands and shook them. Something really weird happened. Jason came up to where I was and shook the Ringie that he held and said, "It's a RINGIE!" Then Graham-Cracker came up to me, didn't say anything, and shook the Ringies that he had in my face then walked away. I gave him a weird look. It's as if they had this planed or something...

I have decided that self-consciousness is stupid. Everywhere I go, if I'm not carrying anything, I start dancing. I find it kinda relaxing, just doing the lamest, most random dances ever. It's ironic, because I don't actually know how to dance.

Eeeek. Our LotF trial is on Tuesday and our defense has nothing. Absolutely nothing. No evidence, witnesses, nothing. At the moment, we're planning to summon a spirit medium to channel Simon's spirit just so he can say
"Jack did it...."
It's not gonna go well :/

That won't hold up in court. Try commiting a murder to draw attention away from the current trial. Or falsify evidence, becoming the Demon Attorney. Or try getting a defense's aide to help you. Or beeeellllliiiieeeeeeevvvvvvvveeeeeee in your client...

DAMN YOU! That's one of my favorite games!!!! (Too bad we can't take P.E. after our sophomore year. (When I actually took P.E. my sophomore year for some odd fu**ing reason.)) But it's okay, I sucked too.

Well alright then!! (But now that I have this going, you got T.Vs.C YET?!)

NOW BACK TO THE TOPIC!

~I am entirely surprised that I haven't killed myself after the time I've spent at the OPC this year. Those kids are EVIL!!! They're like the Spawns of Satan or Children of the Corn!! But even if they're evil little weirdos, it's all to pay for my Dual Credit classes, and I hope to God that the 12 weeks I'm supposed to spend there are over!! I miss coming straight home after school on Monday-Wednesday.

~We finally finished The Scarlet Letter, and we're supposed to start Edgar Allen Poe next week. OMFG SO EMO. My English teacher said that all of the books we're reading this year are nothing but doom and gloom. FUUUUU-.

~FINALLY! We are done with the fall production in Theater Arts!! (And for once, I'm actually agreeing with our principal that we need a break from acting.) Our T.A. teacher already has stuff out for One Act/UIL, and OH SHIT she wants us to be a part of it most likely. (But I like the idea of what play the other kids want to do.)

ALMOST FINISHED WITH SCIENCE PROJECT!! YEEEESS! *fistpump*
My science project it due Friday, but I'm aiming to finish it during class tomorrow. My book has 56 pages, my friend's book has only 19. You're supposed to have about 32 pages. I went so pass the limit. xD
CAN'T. WAIT. FOR. THANKSGIVING. BRAKE. GRAH. I can't wait! I'm sooo excited! HAHA!!
...Actually, wait. My mom is learning line dances that make her look weird. Crap. She's gonna teach her friends, then they'll be dancing it 'round the clock. *sigh* You can't always get what you want.
William said it was weird when I do the Michael Jackson move where you jump onto your tiptoes. He did the move and grabbed his balls while he was at it. It was funny.
You know what sucks? Our class hasn't had Music in a long time. We have Music on Thursdays, and we seem to have never had school these last 3 weeks on Thursday. This is just like last year. Last year, there didn't seem to be almost any Wednesdays, and we had Music on Wednesdays.
I really don't wanna go to P.E. tomorrow. P.E. sucks... a lot. Our teacher, Coach Fields(that's seriously his name) always repeats his directions. He'll say, "...and when you're done running back and forth, tag the next person, okay? Tag the next person." It's so annoying. >=( I also don't wanna go to P.E. because it's just a reminder of how crappy P.E. is and that I have P.E. on my birthday. Just like last year... except we didn't have school on my birthday last year because we had a snow day. =D
On Friday my friend ruined my day by telling me that if you were born on the same day as one person and born in the same hospital, they would wash the babies that were born on that day together. There's this guy in my class who is 3 hours older than me, and do NOT want to have been washed with him. He told me that he was born in Moses Cone, and I did a fist pump right then and there. I know for a fact that I wasn't born in Moses Cone. HAAHAA!

I FINISHED MY MATH MIDTERM!! YESSSSSSSSSSSS

Well... not "finished" per se :yuusaku: I did as much of it as I could... which I hope is enough to pass xD (Assuming I did all the problems I answered reasonably correctly, I should be fine... I hope...)

Oh wellz. I'm back, that's what's import!! (Although after the midterm, I fear the final will kill me for real.)

But the bad news is because we had a "midterm" this weekend and not a "problem set", this week the professor is giving us an extra-large problem set to make up for the fact that this past weekend we technically didn't have a "problem set". However, we're allowed to get help and everything on the problem set, so I'm fine with it.

Also, we got our group assignments for our final project in Japanese (a skit) and I'm with my friend, yay!

Ahh, my semester is almost over (Ends December 10 but final exams a week later that following Wednesday and Friday.)

In Chemistry we've been talking about how batteries work and energy and such. I'm not sure because it's hard for me to follow at times :/ My grade in the class is a D, almost hitting an F... Barely getting by in this class :( It's because I failed both of the exams we've had so far, and they count towards 70% of our grade! However, the teacher said he was going to drop the lowest grade, but I don't think that will help much.

Doing a bit better in Women's Studies though, amazingly. I have a D in this class as well, but it's closer to being a C I think, and since I have to do a group project, I think that this will save my grade in this class, because I ended up in a group with really good members :D

And next week I'm going to my academic advising meeting to get my classes for next semester... I've already been approved to take Japanese 102 at the university 15 minutes away from mine, so I'll be going to two universities at the same time O_O

As for what I'll end up with for my other classes... I have no idea. Hopefully I'll be able to do the class I need to start into the English major and that Freshman level writing class that somehow transferred wrong from my community college >_<

Let's just hope things turn out good :Bikini:

*sigh* My math professor is convinced that the midterm was easy >_> Everyone in math was dead today, so he was like, "What? Was the test really that hard?" Everyone in the class went "Yeah..." and our professor just replied "Naaaaaaaaaah" xD

There's one class that I had to write an essay to get into (as I mentioned already, I think). I find out if I got in "late November" and I reeeeeeeeeeeeeeally want it so badly T_T But my other classes are basically set.

Ughh... My math teacher is such a you-know-what. *cougcoughfemaledogcoughcough*

Just let me show you one instance - my friend was asking me for the answer on a math test, right after the teacher said, "Absolutely No Talking!", and the teacher says nothing. I say, "Shh, don't talk." "Nudal (She obviously used my real name), I specified that there was to be no talking! Out in the hall now!"

She's really annoying. And when she gives a math lesson, she always goes on, and on, and on! And 3/5 times, she calls me Daniel! And there's not even a Daniel in our class.

Either than that, I'm really enjoying school this year. My homeroom teacher called me the "Golden Child" of the class, (as if!) I got the best report card in my class, and I finally have seniority over those darn grade sixes on our bus.

Oh may gawd, they are SOOOOO annoying. There's this one girl, and I'll be talking to my friend, and then out of nowhere, she'll just say, "Oh yeah, I did that too!" Like anyone cares! Sheesh! And this one boy, has a voice worse than Alvin the chipmunk. And this one kid, brings his DS on the bus, and then sings the theme-songs. He was playing Indiana Jones, and all my friends and I hear: "Doo-doo-doo-da! Doo-doo-du! Doo-doo-doo-da! Doo-doo-du-du-du!"

Unfortunately, all these people live on my street. What a bunch of weirdos.

We have to finish The Adventures of Ulysses by Friday or Monday. It's a pretty good book. I think we have to finish it on Friday of Monday because we are going to start reading another book, and on the day before Winter Break we're going to go see it at a private showing at the Palladium. It's kinda like last year. We got to see a private showing of The Lightning Thief because we did a novel study on it. The movie was so different than the book. It mad me kinda mad. I hate it when movies are almost completely different from the book.
You know what sucks? Last week we learned that our principal is going to be replaced because he was recommended for some other job involving our county. Our principal is so COOOOL! My friend made up a handshake with him. It's too bad that he's leaving. I feel so sad...
ANYWAY. On the bus today we were discussing something, I can't really remember, but then Jason said something that had to do with the topic kind of. He said, "Well, Filipinoamerican, *friend who's a girl* and *other friend who's a girl* have 3-ways." I retorted, "Really? If I have a 3-way with them then you have 3-ways with Graham-Cracker and Davis. HA!"
Yeah, I'm weird. Shut up.

@Nudalman
That sucks for you. No one from school lives on my street, but one of my friends lives close to me. That's kinda like what happened to me in 2nd and 3rd grade. We had assigned seats on my bus, and most of the Fifth graders sat in the back because that was their assigned seat. There was this one obnoxious Fifth grader who would sing weird songs, and it got REAAALLY annoying. Now it's kinda like this with my morning bus driver. There was this one kid, and while we were at a stoplight, his mom gets out of her car and knocks on the glass door. The kid's mom yells, "We were there!!" and then stomps off. Then the bus driver starts arguing with the kid who has the same attitude as his mom, kind of. They argue until we're almost to school. What's really weird is that the bus driver kept on saying, "You know what? Just stop talking." Then she'll start talking and the arguing went on and on. You know what sucks, though? I was in the seat behind the bus driver because that was my assigned seat. And the kid was in the seat next to mine. It was madness.

That's when you calmly and quietly (and somehow privately) explain that your friend asked you a question about the test and you were just telling him no talking :lana:

Yeah, but I don't really want to rat out my best friend, after previously he saved my butt when she suspected me of copying his answers (which I was) and he said I was asking him what class I had next, and it was his fault for talking. Of course, she didn't get mad - he's her favourite student. I'm still kind of mad that she got mad at me.

However, if it was someone else, I'll gladly take that advice.

Weird something I noticed: Just noticed that it's weird how I got the highest English mark in my whole grade, and English is my second language <_<

We had music today. We learned a new song called, "Do You Hear?" It has a kinda sad tone to me. Our music teacher said that we were the best class even though we hadn't had music class in 3 weeks. We practiced, "It's a Holiday". Very catchy song. Very catchy.
It's a holiday of music
It's a holiday of song
It's a holiday of singing listening playing
Along
It's a holiday of music
Do your very best to hear
For a holiday of music is a happy holiday
Every note we hear
As we deck our happy halls
Helps to make the season bright
Music fills our hearts
As we make a joyful noise
In this season of love
And delight!

I love music.

Your lucky you get to sing...

My teacher is this chubby woman who thinks she's so great at everything.

OK, maybe I'm exaggerating, but that's the gist of it. Pretty much, she thinks I'm stupid, even though I now more about music than her! (I've outsmarted her and proved her wrong so many times... without remorse, considering how she's OUT TO GET ME!) When I take my bass clarinet home to practice, she's like, "Make sure you know your accidentals!" in this mean voice. I KNOW MY ACCIDENTALS! SINCE I WAS 6!

Yeah... :payne:

Oh that's neat! Reminds me of when I was in 5th grade WAAAAAAY back in 2000-2001 and I joined a Christmas singing recital. Problem is, we only sang ONE Christmas song... The rest were songs pertaining to Hanukkah and Kwanzaa. Seriously, wtf? I understand Hanukkah but nobody around where I live celebrates Kwanzaa :/

We sang a Hanukkah related song last year for Christmas. It was called, "Festival of Lights".
Festival of Lights
Candles burn at night
Hanukkah Hanukkah
Festival of Lights

We had to sing it in a round. It was pretty.

Today during S.S. we had so much fun. We did this thing where someone in our class was King George of England, two people were Parliament, one person was the tax collector, and the rest of the class were colonists. It was basically to make you feel like you were in the time period after the French and Indian War. I was a colonist. My friend played King George, even though she was a girl. My other friend and this nerdy kid were Parliament. Parliament gave taxes on earrings first. I wasn't wearing earrings, so I didn't have to pay the tax with my 10 pieces of fake money. My friend took her earrings off to try to not pay the taxes, but that just lead up to her paying twice the amount of the tax. This dude took a large paperclip, twisted it into a triangle, and put it on his ear. He said he just wanted to pay the tax, so he did. Next, Parliament taxed shoelaces, which was horrible of them. Almost everybody in our class was wearing shoes with shoelaces, except for 3 people who were wearing crocs. I had to pay 2 of my 10 pieces of fake money. Then, Parliament taxed jeans. I was so happy because I wasn't wearing jeans, I was wearing jeggings. Then the class got into an uproar after we saw how much money the tax collector had for doing his job and the teacher told us that people would tar and feather tax collectors. So we got 5 minutes of silent lunch.

But... the taxes would increase the cost of goods you buy in the future, not the cost of stuff you already have :yuusaku: Also, the big deal wasn't that goods were being taxed, but that the colonists weren't having any say in what was being taxed and by how much. They were also able to moan about most of the taxes to get them repealed. Plus, some taxes even decreased the cost of the good (as strange as it may sound). And lastly, the American colonists' taxes were actually waaaaaaaaaaaay less than the taxes of pretty much every single other European nation. And the reason England started levying taxes in America all of a sudden was because they had just finished the French and Indian War, in which England basically bore all the cost of protecting the colonists, and for basically the entire time before that England had been pretty hands-off with America.

King George of England? We're still on the Reformation in my Western History course.
