Majority of the Disney couples had extremely shallow relationships that made no sense in pursuing. I know it's a fairytale based thing, but still. Snow White and the Prince barely ever talk. Cinderella and the Prince don't talk at all, just dance... although that was rectified in Cinderella III, where they apparently had to work to fall in love and get together... as mentioned, Ariel and Eric, even if they had 3 Days. Belle and the Beast actually do spend time together - how much, we don't know, the movie is pretty unspecific about it.

This was birth from my head-theory that some of the robot masters in the older Mega Man games are based on superheroes. Like here, where Elec Man's most likely based off Electro.

She's a LOVER not a fighter (cause it's her arcana haha) but yeah I think her role is fine, information is important too after all. I wouldn't use the word 'improved' since it's not absolutely a flaw in the game.

Well, she got a bit more of an active role in-battle than in the PS2 version, let's call it that. By the way, is there a way to keep her (or Teddie) from constantly telling me stuff. "Chie-senpai's heath is low! Somebody please heal her!" although I am perfectly capable of knowing she's save until Yukiko gets her turn to heal her... is it because I picked Beginner as my rank? Will they shut up if they pick a higher difficulty?
Oh and up to now I have not met anyone in the Shadow World being all, "Yeah you're a part of me... no biggie"
And I'm approaching the end of September, I just rescued Naoto... I know I'm close to finishing the game, somewhat.

Well try and understand that these are things they don't consider a part of themselves XP Rise doesn't want to think she's a big hussie and it's painful for her to admit it but she does admit that it's a part of her at times. It makes sense for them to refuse it at first, especially when you actually add in the factor that their friends (in some cases relative strangers) are there to see all this. They want to make it clear to them of all people that these aren't their true feelings. Also magical world kidnappings...denying the reality in such a crazy situation doesn't seem so far fetched considering they were living normally just hours ago.

I hope you're not saying that Rise's Shadow is based on Freudian ideas. It isn't. The entire game is more based on Jung stuff. I know people think Kanji's Shadow basically portrays how homosexual he actually is, or at least concerned about his sexuality, but that isn't the case. He's torn between how his external appearance is, he looks every tough and all, but he also loves to sew and create things himself, which is seen as a pretty 'unmanly' thing to do. He doesn't know what to act like, not if he's gay or straight or bi.
I forget the basis of the Jung stuff, but it's basically about the truth about oneself (which the game hammers in, yes) and how the Easy Answer is generally not the right one. Like how one unlocks the True Ending, you have to see beyond the easy answers of the happenings.
I'll look it up later, I'm tired...

...Didn't mention Freud at all....and it's not really much like Jung's at all. It takes basic concepts like a Persona and a Shadow and plays fast and loose with those terms, there's so much more to Jung but hey it's a magical setting and I find it enjoyable enough.
And I'm not in the corner of the fandom that thinks Kanji is a blazing homosexual because of his shadow, it's just how he feared he would be seen, the ultimate exaggeration of his fear of enjoying stereotypically feminine things. The writers leave it a bit ambiguous to his sexuality. For me he's just a cool guy.

It's Rise's little catchphrase in the Japanese version. Her idol (nick)name was Risechi, but they figured it wouldn't quite translate well into English. Hence why her English idol was changed to Risette to give us the pun 'Push Risette/Reset'
I must say, maybe it's just because I know how Japanese pronounciation works, but I think Risechi (Reesehchee) would have worked fine turning into Rise Cheese (Reeseh Cheese)

Re-reading Ben's recap of Persona 4's introduction up to receiving Jiraiya, I came across that little note again. And indeed, it sums up Persona 4 very, very well. I was so happy towards the end of the game, when I didn't have to listen to gossip anymore.
And then, bam! Every other morning, I get a scene where I'm told "You overhear students talking" or similar... I know Yasoinaba is a small place, but don't these people have anything to talk about except gossip?

I didn't want to fudge around with the transparency again and couldn't get it to look good, so I just made it fit with the CR theme I'm using. I like this one, the quality is good and she looks cute. That would look cute if she actually appeared during a in-cut during All Out Attacks.
