True. I was thinking about the sun at night. I'm such a dummy sometimes. :edgy:

For Riddle 1:
Spoiler: JFA - 2-4
It's either DeKiller or the camera hidden in Juan's room.

They're probably wrong though......

He jumps out the first window of a 20 storey building. Larry never said he would jump off the 20th floor, did he now? No. So he's still jumping out of a 20 storey building, but only on the first floor :p

Just got a really good one from my grandma!

Spoiler:
A Teacher was talking to her class about a pop quiz one friday.
"Now kids," she said, "The pop quiz will be one day next week. You don't know what day it will be, because the pop quiz will be a suprise. Okay class, thats the end of the day, pack your things...
"Wait a minute!" One of the kids shouted.
"Whatever is the matter?" Asked the teacher.
"I just realized something! I Know the day the quiz will be!!" The child said

My question is: What day is the quiz on, and WHY? <There is a logical reason>

I love this one, it takes real thinking out the box to solve (I did it in around 10-ish minutes)

One question: Does the student already know what specific day it will be on, or is it the fact that he/she can figure it out no matter what the teacher does?

Nope, the student didn't know what day it was beforehand

To be honest, not even the teacher knew what day it was going to be on.
Yet there is a way to discover what day the quiz will be.

Monday.

It's not Friday; if they go through Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday without a pop quiz, then they'll know it's on Friday, which would break the condition.

Then it can't be on Thursday; since it's not on Friday, if they go through Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday without a pop quiz, then they'll know it's on Thursday, which would break the condition.

Then it can't be on Wednesday; since it's not on Thursday or Friday, if they go through Monday and Tuesday without a pop quiz, then they'll know it's on Wednesday, which would break the condition.

Then it can't be on Tuesday; since it's not on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday, if they go through Monday without a pop quiz, then they'll know it's on Tuesday, which would break the condition.

So the only day left is Monday. Of course, if you want to apply another iteration of the logic, then that rules out Monday too, and they can't have a quiz at all ;)

Here is another one I remembered.

Spoiler:
A Woman is crying, greiving of the man she just lost last night. She is explaining to the police what happened.
"Well, he was watching this show about the beast of bodmin moore," explained the wife, dabbing a tear from her eye. "And after that, we went to bed. He got to sleep first, and he was having an awful dream about the beast chasing him down the hill. He was shaking so fitfully he fell out of our bed. He hit the side of his head on our chest of drawers. That's what happened."

The Policeman beleived the story for a while, but then noticed something was very odd about the story the woman had just told. Tell me, what was 'odd' in the womans story?
