Today I had really bitchy customers at work. A mom with 3 kids were wreaking havoc at the check stand. The mom didn't do anything because she was pissed that another crewmember got to a customer in front of her rather than herself.

Yeah me and my girlfriend find that problem a lot with the middle aged.
In my crazy speculations I wonder if it's a result of them having very little control of people in their lives. They fantasize and dream about riches and servants and big houses and when reality doesn't reflect that they exert what control they can over people like us as perceived 'servants'.

Same for me, I'd been going over past photos and found I never really looked happy in any of them. My eyes always seemed half closed and my lips were pursed so come the time of my yearbook photo I was determined to make a difference.
It was a big group photo of my entire year I was somewhere about the middle. We were all ready to take the photo and so I tried desperately to assemble my face into a smile.
I opened my eyes wider trying to curl them up at the edges and put my teeth together and opened my mouth wide in a smile trying to stretch the edges of my mouth into an expression of mirth.

My father does not approve, he tells me that we have no money and my mom should tell my "royal" relatives that. I tell him, "It's mom's choice, let her be."
My father starts yelling at me and saying, "Shut up Heather! Since when were you in this conversation?"
I was about to say, "Uhhhhh, when you started talking to me." But got cut off by his yelling.
Then my mom and butt kissing brother ganged up on me and tell me to just be quiet.
I basically left speechless after that...Well ok, I made sure all the groceries were away because my ego hurt mom left and treated me like a servant and she was the inpatient dutchess.

Actually, the way I act online or even in real-life, outside of a Job, is extremely different from how I act when I am working. While I work, I am all-smiles and super pleasant, attentive to my customer and do everything to help them or make them feel better. Yeah, people underestimate suicide threats cause they are overused these days. I mean, tell me one person who has not had a bad day and said, "I want to DIE!" Yeah, just a cry for attention, too, it was nothing serious.
