Pretty much everything at this tumblr account. I'm such a ridiculous 90s kid. here are some specifics, though:

+ I miss waking up to watch Zoids before I went to school in the morning. It used to make my day. Additionally in this category, I miss the anticipation I had for the days they started airing promos for The Final Four. Ugh, so epic!
+ I miss the anticipation throughout the day for new episodes of Rurouni Kenshin, Dragonball Z, Yu Yu Hakusho and assorted others, back when Toonami was actually worth watching.
+ I miss how thrilling even simple games like Crash Bandicoot used to be. They were really exciting when I was younger!
+ I miss how awesome holidays like Halloween or Christmas used to be.
+ I miss Ecto Cooler, the Hi-C drink with Slimer from The Real Ghostbusters on the box.
+ Sometimes, I really miss the horrendous original characters I created for various fandoms I was into... because I was very excited about them at the time and had a lot of fun with them.
+ I miss stupid fads like Slap Bracelets, Beanie Babies, Pogs, Skip-It, Zbots and a boatload more than I could possible name.
+ I miss trading and battling Pokémon cards in the school playground (which was a concrete parking lot for me) at recess.
+ I miss when shows like Boy Meets World were relevant.

I miss a lot of things. 8D

((On topic))

They say the devil's water it ain't so sweet,
you don't have to drink right now...
But you can dip your feet.
Every once in a, little whiiiiile.

I miss being able to sing in public without people giving me weird looks.

I miss being able to play with those friends back then
I miss the life without worries

So hmmm, does anyone remember American Gladiators? Man, I loved watching that crap as a child...

EDIT: I also just loved watching those monstertruck shows! :D Watching Big-Foot and the other trucks racing against each other and stuff was and still is pretty rad.

FUUUUUUU Dude I went to one of their shows live.
I remember the big-ass green monstertruck crushing the shit out of all those other cars.

That one of the few times my actual father took me anywhere that wasn't Knotts.

Slap bracelets? Hahaha, I remember those! I don't think I ever owned one, but I remember always going into KB Toys with friends and playing with those stupid things.

Other things I miss?

When everything wasn't a remake or reboot or rip-off or sampling or cover and there was still some damn originality out there.

I miss the days that a movie was still at the box office six months down the road, because there were only five or six movies at a theatre at the same time, with maybe one or two being replaced at the rate everything is being replaced now (you know, if the movie REALLY sucked).

I've probably said this before, but I miss the days it was all about the music. None of this over-sampling, poser-gospel vocalizing, emo-screaming, b.s. angst, half-your-weight-coming-from-the-jewelry-you-wear, "I'm an idiot, but as long as I look cool holding this guitar, you can't say I'm not a real musician" crap. I mean the days when somebody could score a hit even if they looked like Sasquatch with boobs, and nobody would give a crap. (Oddly, I owe my thanks to Youtube for allowing me to see the days when it was all about the music. And in a sick way, I do appreciate the fact that record companies have been taking a beating ever since the Napster thing.)

I had those Hamtaro figures as well! Me and my sister made up the craziest stories and everything. We owned Panda (the one who looked like a panada, duh), Hamtaro, Pashmina (the one with the pink scarf) and Jingle (the guy with the guitar).
Panda owned a cool Ferrari F40 and had a dog named "Summer"... Hamtaro was super friendly all the freakin' time and said a lot "Aloha!" and had a dog named "Spring". He also owned a picture of a hamster and called him Humphrey....

We were such "creative" kids back then.... special kids... that's how shrinks would call us >_>

Hamtaro was fun! I had like, every edition! And how I would play with them, me and my sister made the parents go into the army and the hamtaro gang would have a mean guardian. We were so weird!

Well, at least now I know what makes me cry: Memories of TV shows that were awesome that I watched when I was 3. It went downhill SO fast when Ant and Dec weren't on it anymore. Then Saturday morning TV shows went to absolute shit. And the kids who remembered the golden ages grow up with an overall hatred for people who spend their time on a forum dedicated to a specific video game franchise.

*sigh*

WHY DID I KEEP WATCHING IT!?

Dick and Dom was interesting. I never watched it much, but when they stopped, I began to wish I had. To this day, it remains one of my very few regrets.

- Good pokemon games and the original TV series.
- Being able to play pretend without looking like some retarded kid.
- Being able to sing songs about pandas, cucumbers, pastry, and spleens without looking like a dumbass.
- GOOD TV shows on cartoon network [Adventure Time is pretty funny though, despite being horribly inappropriate at times XD]
- LESS HOMEWORK.
- Not having to worry about the future
- Having impossible dreams that you somehow were confident that you could accomplish
- Actually having friends that live nearby. D= Everyone on my street moved away and was replaced by all-adult families. And most of them don't even speak English.
- Not having to speak Spanish to understand people in California. As racist as that sounds, it's true. The kids are fine, but a lot of their parents don't even bother to try to learn the country's language. XP
- Being completely ignorant of everything that happens around you. As they say, ignorance is bliss.
- And... pretty much everything from when I was a kid. As soon as I hit 10 years old, my entire life took a turn for the worse XP

I miss the days when I could just write poetry, unbounded by the sorrows and hatred of society.
My pen was the lifeline of my soul, echoing the memories and dreams of lives I may or may not have had.

They call me still; the echoes of the past.

Refusing to fade into memory, where they will be forgotten, and die.

WHERE HAVE THE VOICES GONE?
THEY ABANDON ME, AS DOES EVERYONE ELSE.

Soon I fade into the shadows, no longer fueled by the echoes, but becoming one myself.

And in the silence, the ink dries and the book is closed.

Only if it wasn't meant to be laughed at. Which I'm guessing it was.

Actually, his post does remind me of something. I miss the days when all us aspiring teenaged poets hadn't caught on to how bad our poetry really was. "OMG it rhymes and talks about DEATH and SHATTERED SOULZ!!11 we r liek, sooooo deep"

Bahaha. Emo poetry and poems about love that do the typical A, B, A, B pattern are made of fail and are horribly overdone. Now, poetry without rhymes or long, fancy big words that make the reader's brain hurt is the way to go. The more unique a poem is, the better it is in my book. Hmm... Makes me want to try my hand at poetry. Never tried before.*runs off to see how bad I suck at it*
