What the fuck, Google. I just searched 16 articles. Seriously? They think my PC is sending automatic queries? I can't believe they would be that stupid enough to believe that. My my, I can't believe they had to "block" my IP Address despite I'm innocent.

I've been using Google for 4 years, and this is the first time I've been IP-Banned or something. And how come they're so stupid and contradictory? Like, they shoved captchas at me to prove I'm human, and so I did. Still, they weren't pleased and just HAD to do that. Why? Become they're so damn lazy to carry on the request.

If the computer is sending automatic queries, then how the hell it overpasses a Captcha!? How about that, Google? Care to answer that? And besides, the real culprits never probably receives messages like those I quoted just now.

EDIT: Alexander, I have watched the video you linked me. My god. I can't believe they'd go so far to--*trimmed due to it being spoilerish*

That's like how my mother was banned from this one Facebook slot machine game for earning too much money too fast, yet she was just playing the game legitimately and happened to be lucky. It's funny to me that they think she'd be able to hack, as she takes 5 minutes to type a 3 sentence Facebook post.

Sounds like casino employees being angry that you count cards at the card tables because it's a mathematical game. Dipshits, if you don't want the geeks to use math to count cards and win, don't offer those games!

You know what grinds my gears? Weddings. They are the most obnoxious fucking thing in the world. So self-congratulatory and unnecessary. Just the firework displays alone cost more than most people's cars. Boring people get up there, tell a bunch of dull stories to pretend they aren't dull.

I really don't understand how this kind of social mechanics work. Some guy or some woman gets married and now your presence is required, and you owe them money. How the hell does that work? lol. I really don't get it. Why invite me? Leave me out of it.

I'm not sure I get where the "you owe them money" part comes from, never heard of that at any wedding XD

It's a matter of celebration, yeah it's not 'practical' or 'necessary' and the job could simply be done by signing a book in a registry office. There's plenty of reasons to make a song and dance of it though.

In some cultures it's beliefs, I'm not sure every culture has the registry office as an option and sometimes religion and culture demands ceremonial process otherwise the marriage might not be recognised or official.

For some people they might just want to share a special moment in their lives with their friends and family and so the best way to do that is to have a celebration. I mean even if there wasn't a wedding and people signed in the registry office, there'd almost certainly still be a private party held somewhere to commemorate the event.

Society perceives it as something worth celebrating. An expression of, hopefully, love everlasting with the people important to them. If you receive an invite, they'd consider you important enough to be worthy of coming along and sharing in their joy.

It's possible to argue that few things that cause joy are "practical" and "necessary." Video games? Films? Hobbies?
I consider positive emotions like joy and happiness necessary though and so such celebrations are therefore necessary and practical in the facilitation of this emotion. In fact married couples statistically live longer (this actually goes for happier people in general but marriage has been identified as an affecting variable in the matter) so you could argue it is practical in a biological sense.

Of course weddings might just not make you happy, but they will make some people happy and so they still serve a purpose.

Either in reference to buying them a gift... or, as is the custom with some cultures, money IS a gift. (What I don't get is why the BRIDE has to give the BRIDEMAIDS gifts...)

This is why I would prefer a wedding of just me, the groom, both sets of parents if possible and just a quick "I do" thing. No big reception. Maybe we'll have a reservation at some restaurant for later for ~10 people and the couple pays. About... 300 Euros in total? Depending on the restaurant and what everyone eats and drinks.

(Yeah, the money part was about gifts)

I understand your point. Weddings are symbolic traditions. A necessary send off, similar to funerals. Nothing against marriage, too. But I just think there is something intrinsically obnoxious about demanding the presence of all these people to celebrate yourself. I am just not about that. In fact, it would make me extremelly uncomfortable, and I don't think I could do it. When I see overly extravagant events, even some birthday parties, I can't help but think "who the hell those people think they are?". Why all the self-congratulation?

And it is like imposing, and I really hate it when people impose things on me. Society kind of expects you to attend to these events, and buy gifts. It is tradition, and it is just... there. And everybody automatically expects you to be part of it. It bugs me. Funerals, I let people get away with, cuz they're dead.

I've been to three weddings in my life, all of which were in the past 2 or 3 years. They were my cousin's wedding, my aunt's wedding, and my second cousin's wedding. I don't normally enjoy social events, and they weren't the most fun experiences for me, the only enjoyable part for me was the food. I'm very much an introvert, so I didnt really socialize much. Still, I see the reason for weddings, and I think that they're an important occasion.

lol. This reminds me of one of my older friends. Poor woman. She's at that age where a lot of her friends are getting married. She goes to like like 2 weddings in each month over the spring and summer. She has a big family. She is a teacher and her husband a college professor, so they are connected to this giant social circle, which makes her get invited to all these weddings. And I know she hates these things as much as I do, but teachers are like some kind of cult, so she has to go to them all.

Well, from what I recall, you can RSVP that you are not coming. I mean, they may expect you to come, but for all they know, you already have something important planned on that day. Like washing your hair. :ron: I've only been to one wedding up to now, and that was my second-youngest uncle's wedding. The wedding was small, on the Fraueninsel, and I pissed off during reception back to the hotel because I was intimidated by the whole thing. Too many people.

Plus, depending on the people getting married (or close relatives they have), I think it'd be perfectly okay to stay away. Things like one of them is your ex, someone you have learned is doing something that you absolutely cannot tolerate... I mean, isn't it better to stay away than to go, be miserable and accidentally/on-purpose reveal your deepest, meanest feelings for someone? My mother stayed away from a "wake" for a friend's ex-husband in a beergarden after he died in a car crash. She just couldn't trust herself to not let loose all the horrible shit he pulled.

Though, of course, you might be super mean about this and think "If they invite me and force my presence, despite potentially knowing my feelings for them, they deserve to learn them". But then people will blame YOU for "ruining the couple's day". :ron:

I actually have nothing against this particular couple. By not participating, I'd feel like I am some kind of scrooge, or whatever. Not participating is actually drawing attention to myself. It is a no win situation for me. In either case, I am uncomfortable. So I just feel that this situation shouldn't exist. Just wish I hadn't been invited at all.

Now I have to hang out with a hundred people I pretend I care about, and we can superficially evaluate each other... I am kind of used to this sort of thing, but I don't like it. I like it when social interaction feels genuine and spontaneous, which in my experience rarely happens in those events. I swear I will never personally get married that way. I couldn't live with myself during the cerimony or after.

Um, not to somehow break your self-esteem or so, but I highly doubt you missing from their wedding day is gonna be their main thought or focus. And if they do, I'd wonder why the hell they're getting married to begin with.

Don't speak too soon. I don't know his connection to the couple but if it was my wedding and someone important wasn't there like a brother or a good friend I'd feel a bit upset that they couldn't make it. I mean sure there's great happy things going on whether that person is there or not but not to the point that I'm just going to overlook their absence without reason.

People notice those things, though, and even if it doesn't affect the overall mood of the event, some see your absence as lack of consideration. And I don't want to lie or make up excuses to avoid it, just feels wrong. I'll just put up with it.

I don't want to talk about this anymore. Whatever, I don't care that much anyway.

You know what really grinds my gears? This stupid bitching about 'gender stereotypes' and how it'll confuse a kid's identity.

Dipshits, unless you LET the gender stereotypes get to you and constantly TELL your child that it'll grow up confused because this stuff is supposedly stereotyping them, they won't give a flying rat's ass. This particular story of a mother throwing a hissy fit because she can't custom-order her daughter a purple backpack with a dragon patch on it is what set me off. Yes, there's also idiots yelling that taking the "Girls'/Boys'" away from Building Sets aisles in shop is gonna do this to people's kids, but this was just obnoxious.

Look at me. When I grew up, I had multiple Barbie dolls. I also played with Lego. I play all sorts of videogames, though I don't play TPS/FPS cause I more prefer Beat 'Em Up games, I wore my brother's hand-me-down clothes because they were still in good condition, but he outgrew them. Heck, I even had some pants from my stepfather that didn't fit him anymore. And I am in no way confused about my sexual, gender or any kind of identity. I like the color pink, but I also like "boy colors" like blue, green and similar.

And just FYI, this woman is raising a twat-waffle. Not only is she raising a stink about this, here's some problems...
A) you do realize you could just buy a regular, cheaper purple school backpack and sew a dragon patch onto it yourself!

B) your child doesn't give a fuck WHY she couldn't get a dragon onto a purple backpack, she's just pissy cause she didn't get it, PERIOD.

C) WHY DO YOU FEEL LIKE YOU NEED TO GIVE YOUR FUCKING KID A CUSTOM-TAILORED BACKPACK FOR HER ENTRY INTO SCHOOL!? You could buy a cheaper, and perfectly stable, backpack for less than they probably demand. And for another, I got a new backpack when I got into 3rd, 4th... maybe even 5th grade. Mostly because I needed to carry a lot more stuff in it, as I proceeded in grades, so it's not like this backpack is gonna survive the decades and be used for a very long time.

You know, I have a pink backpack that I used as my school backpack for a few years. In my last few years of school, including the one year for cosmetician school. I still use it now. You know why? Cause it's big, it's stable and can be used for other purposes. THAT can be used again. Not a backpack for fucking 1st grade!

Finally, the gender identity issue won't happen. As said, it only is an issue because THE ADULTS make a big deal out of it. The kids don't know or understand this. They're kids! They don't care what something is supposed to do to them, unless their important authority people (parents, teachers, grandparents or other relatives) repeatedly TELL them that it's wrong. They don't care if the pink lego they're playing with is for girls or boys, they're just fucking playing with it cause it's fun.

Other than that the article is actually pretty nice to hear that Pottery Barn co-operated with the mother's requests.

You know what grinds my gears?Internet atheists who are not satisfacted until they change everyone's point of view about religion.

Why is it so difficult to stop preaching and keep your views to yourself?I'm surprised they don't invented a flag or a symbol to this atheism, they should do that, because it needs it.

Preachy people are so difficult to deal with.

Atheists need symbols like people who aren't fans of Lady Gaga need a fanclub. It's people who subscribe to religions who use symbols, as it is the fans of Lady Gaga who form the fanclubs. The lack-thereof is incompatible with the thereof. Ascribing a symbol to atheism is to imply it is a following, when it is not, it is the just opposite of a following.

Aggressive antitheism bugs me quite a bit, too, and I'm an atheist myself. It's one thing to disbelieve. It's another thing entirely to lash out at religious people at the drop of a hat. Relentless belittling of religion annoys me just as much as fundamentalist "fire and brimstone" proselytizing. Trying to talk to the people who engage in this behavior is often tantamount to talking to a conspiracy nut; either you agree with them or you're one of the "sheeple."

Which is one reason why I try to avoid talking about religion with people. I'm an atheist. I won't get into discussions with religious people because I am pretty sure they won't be able to make me see their point of view. If the religious person feels like religious is important in their life - Okay. Though if they begin to chew my ear off about their religion and try to convert me, I will tell them to stop it this instance. I'm not trying to remove religion from your life, so don't try to add it to mine. Neither of us wants any part of that sentence.

You know what grinds my gears? Immature internet kids.
Hahaha! I'm back on this topic, I'm DA MOST ENTERTAINING BLOGMC, MOTHERFUCKERS! You can call me AJ. :gant:

Okay, back to the topic.
Kids nowadays seem more intellectual than the kids from the 70's - 90's. It's a statistical fact. On the other hand, other little shits are fucking annoying. Like, really annoying. It's like sticking your balls in a glory hole.

These kids have no fucking clue what the fuck they're saying. You want me to give you an example? Here's one.
There are two internet kids who plays Minecraft. They're both 11 years old.

Kid 1: Fuck you Minecraft ain't fucking shit you asshole cunt bitch
Kid 2: Fuck you cunt bullshit ass fucking goddamnit you asshole fuck whore douche
Kid 1: Fuck you asshole cunt your 11 im 11 too bitch you motherfucker

(Note: This actually happened on YouTube in a comment thread.)

These kids are wannabe MLG. These kids are like aborted sons of the devil, they were rejected because they're too shitty to be born in hell, so they took them away from Satan's vagina and sent them to the crust of the Earth. They're like aliens continuing to spread online. They're like cockroaches! They're the most pathetic souls ever created! God knows why these kids are appearing. (Heheh, cock) The more kids get attached to the internet, the more immature kids spread across the oceans of the internet. I hope they don't go deeper, if you know what I mean...

...

Yeah, whatever, I just made a reference to the Deep Web.

It's more likely that this world is at its very fullest. Steve Jobs is a magnificent genius until several memes appeared and now the world treats him as the stupid idiot. Fuck, when Microsoft ended the support for Windows XP, no one gave a single pellet of shit, even though it is the BEST PART OF OUR GENERATION!!!

Think about it, what is Windows 10? The upgraded version of Windows 8. What is Windows 8? A shitty version of Windows 7. What is Windows 7? The Sci-Fi-styled Windows XP. If Windows XP did not exist, most programmers will spend their time making spreadsheets manually, with an old Microsoft Word and a low-spec computer. I know, Mac is not for gamers. But who the fuck cares? It's a fucking operating system made for creators, not for people with jobs! Even the fucking ERB says so.

In case you don't know, there actually is a manga series called "Steves". Go check it out, it's surprisingly fun. Especially when they tried to make Bill Gates as the antagonist. ... Now why the fuck am I talking about this? :ron:

Going back to the topic. The world is about to end, so prepare yourselves for the return of our Savior. Those kids really needs to shut the fuck up and return to where they belong. I had this experience, myself. I was once one of the immature kid trolls, until... You know what, just ask Ace Pointer about how I matured up. This is getting off-topic.

Anyway...

That's right, Satan is trying his best to recruit more motherfuckers! The revelations are real! And the easiest targets are the kids, of course. What else could it be? Fat cows?

So please, if you ever find yourself in an argument between you and a kid online, stay away from them. You don't know what a kid is capable of. Trust me.

These kids will soon learn how to be mature, it will happen. It might. Let's just hope they don't end up going to hell.
You cannot mess with a kid. That makes you immature, as well. Well, unless if you have a valid reason, like the kid wants to kill himself, or kill their own mother. Yes, most immature fucks do that. Holy shit, "fuck" is listed in the dictionary, no red jagged lines.

I can't fucking believe their parents let them surf without parental guidance. What kid of parenting are you doing, anatatachi? You fucking bakas.

I'm gonna be completely honest, I've studied Sex Education ever since I was 10. You want me to prove it? Here is a fact: Semen is edible and sterile.

There are more annoying traits an immature kid troll has, but you guys could let me know.
If all of them are happy, then I shall be happy too.

The end of nonsense is near.

Why? They're stupid, immature kids who use words like cunt, but have no idea what it means. (I use cunt, but only when I'm REALLY, REALLY angry, despite thinking it's not that bad of a word) I just laugh at them cause they try to act more mature and older than they are. It's a hilarious practice. Can't wait to take my axe and chop 'em down young. Metaphorically, guys. Metaphorically.

Congratulations, I think I've read Sex Ed stuff even younger than that. Not a single time, when school taught sex ed multiple times in my grades, did they give me any info I didn't already have.

Post complaining about kids using R-rated language is peppered with R-rated language of its own.

Fascinating.

Why? They're stupid, immature kids who use words like cunt, but have no idea what it means. It's a hilarious practice. Can't wait to take my axe and chop 'em down young. Metaphorically, guys. Metaphorically.

If they're a bad kid, doesn't really mean they'll grow up as bad people.
They're still kids, we cannot hurt them.

It's not ageist or anything.

I honestly feel bad for them, because they ruin their future by being an asshole on the internet. I do not support them for being immature, and I will never do. Because...

That would just be disgusting.

I'll yell at kids when they're misbehaving and the parents are ignoring it, then yell at the parents for not raising the kid to not be a giant douchenozzle in public. I mean, if the kid lives in a place where it behaving like that at home doesn't bother anyone but the parents, who can tolerate it just fine, that's okay with me. But not in public.

I dunno. I never bothered with stuff like that. I tend to ignore it myself. If by the off chance I happen to get caught up in something like that, I just let it be. Seriously, if they pester, I can block them and be on my way. Sad to say, it isn't always just kids who act childish on the internet either, and vice versa, I've seen children act more mature than some adults I've seen.

Maybe the solution is to figure out a way to give birth to adults. Get rid of the childhood phase altogether.

I disagree. There's plenty of good, well behaved children. Heck, my friend's two kids are some of the most well behaved children I've ever met. I think it's just that the rotten ones stick out more. Same with adults, you have ones that act civil and ones that don't. It all depends on personality and how you were raised, whether you're an adult or a kid.

And when I think about it too, when it comes to the internet, more people are going to notice a negative comment rather than a positive one. Think about it. I think it's human nature when online when you read a comment, you're going to gravitate towards comments full of vulgar immature language rather than a comment that may send praise. I think that's why the former on sites like Youtube tend to have the bigger comment chains. I just think that the fact that it's more kids that do this or stick out (adults are guilty too though) is the reason why a lot of people will have such a negative connection with how children are online.

Then again, it's just my opinion on the matter, but the same argument that's made for talking about how rotten kids can be, I can make the same arguments for adults.

I agree with everything you said. Actually, I don't remember the last time I had problems with a kid on the internet. When I see an obnoxious or immature comment somewhere, I don't even assume the poster is a child. My previous post was just a failed attempt to be funny.

I can't stand when people fail to give very basic education to their kids, it is too much of a negligence. I don't even know if I agree that everyone should be allowed to have children.

I personally hate block or ignore features. It feels like such an immature and cowardly way out of confrontation. Like, someone has a really good point to give (Like my telling someone they shouldn't be so freaking sensitive over the fact that I think it's totally okay to punch fictional characters - you know, like Alois from Black Butler. And other, fictional characters from Anime/Manga.) but the other just blocks you, like they're going "LalalalalalalalaIcan'thearyoulalalalalala~" and think they are the better people because they ran off.

Of course they shouldn't be. But unfortunately, there is no legally obligated test to take before having children, nor are you somehow prevented from having children until you are ready. (No, using birth control is not what I am counting, because the kind of people we're talking about are too stupid to use it properly)

@dangerousoffender: Ah, sorry! I can usually detect sarcasm too. I took you seriously because I have met many who hold that opinion seriously because of how they see some children act.

@catmuto: I think you misunderstand. I don't block to avoid confrontation. I'll block if I'm getting pestered in a childish and immature way. If someone is arguing against me with a good point and I'm not going to block them for that. However, if someone is "arguing" in a way resorting to name calling and pestering because I disagree with their point, yeah, I'll block them because they're acting like a child. It's not me being cowardly, I'm avoiding what could essentially become immature bullying. It's not something I feel like dealing with because it's not worth my time. If your idea of arguing with me is name calling and blackmailing and pestering, it's not worth it for me.

You know what really grinds my gears? Those organizations that want your money donations and their aggressive attempts to get your attention.

There are some in front of the mall, with a streetlight in front of the entrance. Lots of people in and out of the mall, so lots of victims to pick from. I hate how aggressive they are in getting you to pay attention to them, I hate how they ask me for money. If I want to donate money, I will do it comfortably, from home, likely the anonimity of the internet with bank transfers. I will not stand there in the heat or sunshine and listen to your blabber on about your organization. Following conversation took place today between me and one of their workers.

:ron: No, thanks.
:eh?: Yeah, but you're gonna be waiting for the light to change now, anyway.
:ron: Yeah, but I won't be listening. That's the problem.
:eh?: Why not?
:ron: *looks at their help the humans stand* Cause I don't do that.
:eh?: Why not?
:ron: Because I don't have any money

Yes, that may be difficult to believe, if you saw me come out of the mall with a small bag in my hand full of purchases from a drugstore. But that's the thing: this isn't MY money I spent on it! This is money I got from my mom (or her card), with her permission to get something specific. In this case, cat food and some water, two things we need. I honestly do NOT have the money to donate to any organization. Stop asking me. Especially if you try to get my attention when I obviously do not want to do the whole social thing. You will get a pissed off person, who is less likely to listen. I try hard to not snap at people.

My girlfriend calls them "Chuggers" (Charity Muggers).

In the end they have my sympathy, I know they are working for a good cause and have no choice but to seek out donations like that and probably get a tonne of abuse for what they do. Still I know I can't donate any more in my financial situation.

I know. I do admire them a bit for having the nerve to go up to so many strangers and try, and often get ignored, to talk to them.

It's just... if I had enough money to spend on whatever I want, but also have enough to waste on extra stuff, I probably would donate. But I would still not like the chuggers. After all, a donation is something you give? This just makes it seem like I am forced to do it.

You know what really grinds my gears? People who say children's opinions are foolish because they're "so young".
I mean age has no bearing on intelligence, so stop pretending it does.
