Manga: Dragon Ball, Naruto, Yu Yu Hakusho, Hajime no Ippo

Comics: Spider man (I like most of the publications, but "The Amazing Spider-man" is the best one in my opinion)
Re: What is your favorite comic/manga?Topic%20Title

My two favourite mangas are: Nana's Everyday Life, and Paper Eleven. Both by Dan Kim, though they're more of a webcomic. :S

Haven't read manga in a while, kinda lost interested (although I generally became interested in anime again).

1) The Ultimates (Samuel L. Jackson Nick Fury is gorgeous! And I want to see how the Scarlet Witch is going to hook up with Vision, esp. when she has to break up with her brother [it's incest and it's twisted and it's near-canon, so sue me!])

2) Saiunkoku Monogatari - Anime, based on a Japanese light novel, and the anime in turn has a manga based on it. Anyway, out of the main gen het couple, the Emperor is bisexual, pretends to be gay so he can sleep with his temp. wife (the main female character), and despite all the men he CAN sleep with, chooses to remain monogamous to her (although she has no intentions of marrying him ;p) There's a lot more twisted and perverted things in this anime, including proxy zombie incest, but that's for another day....

I sadly don't read comics that much...I live in a world where it's easier to find manga than comics.

~NANA (I want a bloody conclusion to this manga though!)
~Kitchen Princess
~Case Closed
~Death Note
~One Piece
~Chibi Vampire: Karin

I should read more.

Used to read comics a lot in their monthly releases, now I tend to go with collections of series, chief among them:

-Anything Deadpool
-Batman: Arkham Asylum: A Serious House on Serious Earth
-Scott Pilgrim
-Batman: The Black Mirror (yeah, two different Batman comics, what you gonna do about it? Different Batman, too)
-A few of the Star Wars comics (used to get every issue), i.e. the Rogue Squadron series, the KoToR prequel comics (the earlier ones at least), anything with Quinlan Vos
-Used to read Ultimate Spider-Man too, one of my favourite Spider-Man takes (and One More Day never happened in it)

Alright now on to the manga:
-Biomega
-Death Note
-Fullmetal Alchemist
-Jing: King of Bandits

That's about all I can think of just now.

And at least
Spoiler:
Peter Parker died a heroic death in that series. While in the mainstream universe, he got beaten to a pulp by Doc Ock TWICE. Lame!

Favorite Comics:

-Classic Amazing-Spiderman books
-Scott Snyder's Batman
-Batman: Knightfall
-Some Deadpool stuff: I did read a story once where Deadpool teamed up with Spidey (Peter Parker) in New York.
-Archie's Megaman: I've read almost everything except for the Megaman and Sonic crossover.

'Cause I'm kinda limited in knowledge about all this Japanese stuff, I haven't read a lot of manga to know what's my favorite.

I have read a volume of the Ace Attorney manga and the Zelda Oracle of Ages/Seasons manga. But that's about it.

Barely read comics as a kid, mostly I got into manga around age 9-11 and stayed there.
Depending on the genre, I either like something cause it's funny or because I can't predict it.

Say I Love You (Shoujo/Romance)
Great manga, despite being Shoujo, because it doesn't really go along the stereotypical happenings. It really focuses on how a relationship requires work and how a couple can grow.

Half Prince (Comedy/Fantasy/Slight Sci-Fi?)
Freaking hilarious when I started reading it. The novel was good, too....... except for Volume 8 and the 'sequel' Volume 9. Volume 8 became too serious, so the comedy added into those chapters was really off-putting. The epilogue.... terrible. Terrible... thing... in there... And don't even get me started on that 'sequel'! What a load of crap that is!
....that is all I will say about the 'sequel'

Another (Horror/Mystery)
Disgusting at times, but the ending was a real twist to me. Bad kind, seeing as how the reveal was one that felt out of left corner. I don't know whether to blame the weird fan-translation or the manga itself.

Kyou Koi wo Hajimemasu (Romance/Shoujo)
Kinda like Say I Love You, but definitely goes for more clichés.... and the guy is starting to piss me off. The girl is a freaking doormat. And he sees a picture of her smiling and is all, "How dare she smile like that when I am not around her!?" I hope they get better soon, or I might just have to give up on this....

Taiyou no Ie (Slice of Life/Romance?)
Mao is so cute! And it is pretty well done, the realistic tapping around each other awkwardly...

Thinking of checking out Death Note.

I haven't read many comics either. One I do like though is The Walking Dead. The comic and the TV show are both zamazing. Just the idea that any character could die at any second, how it's so unexpected. I love that.

For manga:
-Death Note
-Skip Beat
-Vampire Knight
-Kaichou wa Maid-sama
-Fruits Basket - mainly because it was the first manga I ever read, so it just feels important somehow.

Comics:
The occasional Batman comic. I don't really follow them.
Simpsons comics are pretty good.
Star Wars comics, but none of the extended universe stuff.

Manga:
Phoenix Wright is one of them, of course.
Detective Conan/Case Closed, whatever you want to call it.
