Nope, I'm only somewhat decent in German and French, and can read Ancient Greek. However, I could understand most of what you said - Spanish is kind of similar to Latin.

Uy, los novatos quieren llegar a hablar español... XD Total, no creo que haya mucha gente acá con los mismos intereses, porque creo que todos o casi todos coinciden conmigo en que el español es bastante aburrido. >_>

(And for the record, YES, spanish is my native language. >_> So sue me 'cause I don't like it.)

Lo siento, español no es aburrido.

In fact, I find Spanish quite interesting. But it's only my opinion, you know. But you think that your native language is boring? O_O Now that's new :]
And, if you are looking for an interesting language, try Polish. I assure you, learning it will be REALLY painful :karma:

Opino que el español suena mucho mejor que el inglés y es un idioma bastante más rico. No obstante, me gustan ambos ;).
Aunque puede que pienses eso porque es tu lengua materna, quién sabe xD.

Since I speak French pretty decently, I can understand you, but I can't speak (or pronounce) a drop of Spanish.

:(

I wish I could though. I can never get over the rolling R though.

Although I apparently have a 'perfect' French accent... so I could probably learn how to speak Spanish... somehow...

I'm not too fluent in Hiragana, so, I'm a little stumped, sorry. I often times have to ask my Japanese teacher for help. >3>:

I think that Spanish sounds much better with an English accent than with a French one. Or maybe it's just that I don't like French much >.>.

And if it makes you feel any better, we Spaniards have trouble with the "h", because we tend to pronounce it as a Spanish "j".

I can speak/understand Spanish decently, though not as well as I used to, at the height of my Spanish education in high school. I really have a great desire to learn another language, though not Spanish even though I have a large advantage if I were to learn it again.

Ah, thanks! I've been studying for five years. I have a Japanese teacher in Kyoto who emails me lessons. But, because of his illness and recent stays in the hospital, I had to teach myself most of the stuff. Than I joined Japanese club, (Which only stayed a year) and learned what to and what not to say in certain situations. So I understand some of the culture as well as the appropriate times to say things. I've study Kanji as well mostly Katakana and Hiragana. I got into Japan and it's culture by my parents. (Unlike most who just got into through the animation. >.>;) So, I understand small talk. Like "Ohayo Gozaimasu, Genki des ka?" and I know certain words. Like if a man on TV is behind a microphone, dressed professionally says the word "Sekai" (World) then I can assume he's a political head adressing world issues.

XD Muy divertido. =p

Gozu, without the "ñ" key, your post has sounded way different xD. And why did you stop taking lessons?

Delsy, la pronunciación francesa me resulta más fácil.

DominicanZero. Bueno, yo todavía no he llegado al punto de cansarme del español, pero una situación como la tuya con mis amigos sería complicada; el nivel de inglés en España no es demasiado alto (sólo hay que verme a veces a mí, y eso que estoy en el penúltimo curso de la Escuela de Idiomas xD).

LOL, corazón, no has visto nada todavía, créeme.

Now in English:

I like Spanish over English, because it has a ... :beef: i don't know how to say it... lol xD, it has more variety of words for a feeling or adjective. English is good, but i think that i can point in a best way some terms (pretty, beautiful, precious?, etc...see? few words, unless my knowledge of english words is low xD).

=) It's nice to see other people talking / writing in Spanish. I know a little English but i can't write it very well (even less speaking it, i'm ashamed :bellboy: ).

Hope i made me clear. :shoe:
