I can't remember my password.

So... I'm trying to log on using my laptop, and I can't remember my password. Is there a forgotten password button anywhere? Good thing I set it for remember me on here. :phoenix:

If you have a removable disk and Kerberos isn't completely screwed, you can usually run a backup of your password.

I made a disc for DCs that can completely compromise any system regardless of the OS installed. You might want to invest time in making a code-breaking disc if you forget passwords. Either that or write them down. :nick:

K. Now make sure it stays remembered. I have to remember so many passwords on top of the algorithms I work with each morning. They're long enough to make you scream. Keep things simple. :lana:

I recommend making a common trend, such as a related list of words (Favorite Game Attacks, Harry Potter Spells... I don't care what you use) between each password, and use a decided symbol/ number for all of them. And to keep them strait, use the same word for every type of that site you go on, for example:
Online Games, use Word A,
Forums, Word B,
News Sites, C.
ect.

That's the best way to remember them all.
(Note, my words are not Game Attacks or Harry potter spells)

My password is longer than your password.

But this isn't the place for password comparison or password envy, so I'll just leave it that.
