Rayman 2 was my childhood favorite, (and probably yours) and I think it should be the number 1 game of all time.

ok, if you ever played it, what was your favorite bit in it? mine was that the PS1 had a much more epic razorbeard boss fight.

Never played Rayman 2, but I did play (couldn't beat, due to the lack of a working PS2) "Hoodlum Havoc" (that's Rayman 3), and I absolutely loved it. I read that 2 is much better than 3, so I really think I should play it whenever I get the chance.

Also, fingers crossed for "Origins" coming to Wii!

Seconded. Only, I had the GC version, and never beat it 'cause I suck... BUT, I think I have a relative who has a PC version of 2... Could go bug them...

I used to be in the Rayman fandom for a long long time, somewhere from 2002 - til 2007. And I still occasionally am.
I like the first game, I love the second and I am not all too fond of Rayman M (I might have been fond of that gameplay wise, but it always kept crushing on me, deleted my files and MADE ME RAGE) and the 3rd game actually, and don't make me start about the rabbits. That all being said, I will not go into any detailed rant here.
Hoodlums' Revenge was a surprisingly decent GBA game though and generally the first 3D Jump and Run Game I ever played on the GBA as well. I mean all the other platformer games for the GBA (or GBC) were transformed into 2D J&R
Rayman 2 was and will be always my favorite though.

(I srsly have a thing for the Whalebay level although it drove me crazy the first time - and the Cave of Bad dreams, although that drove me crazy the first time as well xD)

Besides, the ending of this game was so adorable <3
Have you ever let the credits run through? You get to play a little parody of Space Invaders with Razorbeard xD

Also, I kinda always count Tonic Trouble into the Rayman Series as well =)
