Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance (or Kingdom Hearts 3D) is an upcoming game for the 3DS and hopefully the last one before Kingdom Hearts 3. Neku from The World Ends With You is confirmed to be a guest character! Apparently he's in a Reaper's Game with only 45 minutes to live and he needs a partner to help him fight.

Though that's quite an awesome guest character, nice to know Square are reaching beyond Final Fantasy for characters to include.
Here's hoping for Noise-themed enemies.

It's possible TWEWY Shibuya will be involved in plot since it seems he's partnering up with Sora.
After all with most other non-standard partners you fight against their villain in the world (Aladdin-Jafar, Tarzan-Clayton etc) it's also looking highly possible Miniamoto or good ol Shades will make a showing as a villain here...or even imagine if Joshua showed up?

The concept is somewhat similar (the players have to complete missions, and there's a time limit), but TWEWY came out before 999.

What I've understood is that this game happens after KHII.
The reason for them being younger; I don't know, but it probably has something to do with the dream -thing.
For costume; huh? really?

I know that Sora's outfit is black, but from the screenshot there, it doesn't look THAT different from KH1... He's even wearing the same shoes...

I think the whole style is leaning towards KH1.
I mean lookit Riku, he's this teen heartthrob/boyband type guy in KHII whereas he's far more back to his original look, but with elements of KHII (the white jacket) showing.
And I suppose I'd just not seen the models clearly as Riku is more blatantly different but yeah it's definitely more similar to KH1.
Man Riku got buff XD Maybe it's just because he looks less lanky.
