I'm a little confused by how the time-line thing in this works. It seems sometimes like changing something in an alternate reality affects another. It's weird.

Good game, though. I should get back to playing it.

Yeah, tell me 'bout it.
I was so confused at first when I tried to understand the plot.
On the other time line this or that character is alive when in the other he/she is dead...
Luckily I got used to this and understood it in the end.
Well...Luckily I didn't have any long hiatus's with this game,
since I just know that if I'd have forgotten something important in other time line,
i would have been so lost on the other. Ai yi yi... :eh?:

The way I understand it, consider the two timelines in radiant historia as two strings, right next to each other. Now, touch the string from one side into the other. The second string warps to conform to the indent in the other string. Consider 'events' to be ripples in the string. If a person dies in one timeline they die in the other, much the way if the string turns left, the other turns left as well. And just as the string curves to reach the point you pushed the string, events in the timeline curve themselves to accommodate the events.

So you'd call this the string theory? :)

To me, this may sound weird, but the timeline stuff in this game sort of reminds me of A Link to the Past's Light and Dark Worlds. The two are interconnected, yet at the same time, different. Some events you do in one world may affect something in the other world, yet the two worlds run their courses separately overall. If I try too hard to understand the time travel elements, I feel my brain will overload, so it's easy for me to relate it to something I can easily understand.

I wonder why Elm never got a portrait... Is it really that important for the Satyros and the Gutrals to have an equal amount of character portraits? Elm and Barranca were really important characters... It's weird that they don't have portraits, especially when they're having conversations with people who do. XD
