I'm a little stuck on it, but so far I think its a great game. It's been brought up-to-date really well and the story is more unique than some of the other FF games I'ves played :) I gave it a thumbs up, even though I've yet to finish it.

I love watching the opening animation. It's so pretty to see what the DS is capable of. The hundreds of combos for the jobs are amazing too.

Fun game though. It feels archaic in terms of gameplay, but I enjoyed it, which is a testament to the original game. Can't wait for the remake of FF4.

If I understand what you mean, then the answer is:
The original FF3 was a NES game, how could it have been 3D?
There are also a lot of changes in the leveling and job leveling.
