Toadette's been in a number of Merio games, though just about all of them were in the Mario Kart, Party and Sports games. She's considered the girlfriend of the "main" Toad, or so I understand.

Also I think the game could be the next MP, while I think it's silly that Mario is running just as fast as Sonic I think the game could be very enjoyable. I'm not going to run out and buy it, but I'll rent it to see if its fun to play, could easily replace Wii Sports as the game people want to come over and play at parties.

But to be more serious, I would've jumped on this boat a few years ago... but it's the Olympics. The events are about as two dimensional as can be. It'd take some real skill to make them interesting.
