I'm thinking of buying this for Christmas and I have some questions:

1. Is it region-free (can I buy it from US) and will there be any restrictions if I do?

2. If I buy the UK version will I be able to buy booster packs and starter decks from US and will they work with my UK version

3.What PS3 games should I get also with it (maximum of 3)

I can't really help, but I know that Penny-Arcade was pimping the game for a week or two during it's release; you could probably get a lot of info on it from their forums.

Well, if you're a good, law-abiding citizen, naturally you WOULD buy the boosters buuuut...

...it's been widely reported that using just low-res printed colour scans of the cards is enough to fool the cameras. Not even those that are suppose to be 'holo' are protected. Basically, you can say you have a very 'low-cost' alternative to actually buying the booster packs.



Do they limit the selection? I would suggest Heavenly Sword, maybe Resistance Fall of Man if you're an FPS fan (but I suggest going for CoD 4 instead if there's the option for newer games). Not sure about the third. Uncharted would be a great choice, but it's just released so it might not be on promotion...

For the games, it really depend on your tastes, but Resistance: Fall of Man, Ratchet and Clank Futures: Up Your Arsenal, Elder Scroll IV: GOTY Edition, Call of Duty 4 and Uncharted should all be good choices.
