I love Dead Rising. It's one of the greatest games on the 360, not to mention the best use of Achievement Points in any game ever.

God, Dead Rising is a great game.

Nowadays I have so much fun running around in my Ghosts N Goblins boxers with a lightsaber, I just laugh to myself.

I remember after I got that achievement for saving 50 survivors, I shot EVERY survivor in the face when I met them the next game. It's so satisfying to see some blood pour out of some poor sap's face when he gets a mouth full of MEGA BLASTER!!!

Ohh you got the 5 and 7 day survivor achievements? Lucky....

Those are currently the last achievements I need, along with Frank the Pimp, PP Collecter and Clothes Horse. When I have time this summer, I'll sit down and do a 7 day survivor run.

If it can properly be handled, I'd love to see a bit of a mini-series with Dead Rising. A trilogy at most, but a second game for sure. The only thing that could really go wrong would be if 1) they try to make it more than "kill zombie lawls" 2) if they try to turn it into Grand Theft Auto with zombies.

What made this particular "playground/sandbox" game so damn fun was the location, all of the things to do and interact with, and etc. I worry that if a sequel is made and it's placed just 'in a city', then it'll be too bland. We've already seen a ton of big cities before, since the start of PS2.

But we never had a mall. A really detailed mall. And Mega Blasters. <3 Dead Rising was the first game I'd played where you're meant to run around and fuck with stuff (though there were missions), and it's not just some side-diversion that most people buy the game for.

I'd love to see that magic again.

yeah, the survivor achievements were annoying. I just would bring all the food from killing people or just static food after a while, up to a safe area, like where the katana is in paradise plaza, or in the A.F. Plaza fountain, wherever is safe really. then I would settle in and watch some movies on my laptop. It wasn't all that bad, I just had to make sure I didn't lose track of Frank's health.

How long have you survived in Overtime mode?

I think I hold the record for ten days. The game got boring, so then I decide to play PW:JFA. Come back a minute later, a whole damn swarm of zombies comes right after me. I run off like a coward, shooting every damn one of 'em that come after me. Then the damn survivors attacked me. Then I died. Then I played EBA.

Ah, fun days.

Mmmm, I hope it is a smallish location again. I liked the fact that you could interact with EVERYTHING in the mall. it made it a lot more fun.

With regards to Infinity mode, I suicided on Day 7 because I got the achievement. But I think I could have gone on for a LOT longer. I had just started getting into the "Ground" food when I hit 7 days, so I had porbably at least 3 days out of that, and that's not including any people that may pop up in those days.

Maybe an even bigger mall next time? Like, say one of those malls with inside and outside locations?

I demand a Mall of America type of location, like Hatman implied. It'd give a much more than just stores.

How about a Silent Hill style town town with several buildings, a hospital, graveyard, and a super mall all explorable :D

Nah. Like I said, it'd basically just turn into a GTA-style sandbox game with zombies. All of the charm comes from the mall.

The mall, yes, just like Dawn of the Dead.
The movie, which, no doubt, supplied the inspiration for this movie.

Of course. ♥ And I think I just went in a cycle. Yeah, something like West Edmonton or Mall of America. I'm sure there's more than a mall that can be done, but I'm not sure yet.

I'm with ya Holy Hell. Some other places might work, but the team did a mall really well, so you know the next one would be great as well.

A larger mall would be great for me.

My schedule doesn't approve of the current version.
