Its sort of like a board game. You play as Kyon, destroying evidence of aliens, time-travellers or espers so that Haruhi doesn't get suspicous. Fans of the show would get what I'm talking about, if not then just look it up here. I think if Haruhi finds the evidence, it's all over. It looks alright but I'm not sure how it would work.

Importing is fantastic and all, but text heavy games aren't enjoyable unless you understand what's being discussed. Otherwise, you're just blindly going through menus and selecting points on a graph.

Yeah. Also, if you just used Gamefaqs or something to help you, that would take the fun out of it wouldn't it?

Yeah I know! How awesome is this?

It's no Gyakuten Haruhi, but it's a game.
With Suzumiya in it.
Officially.

uhh.....well the only way they can make haruhi into a decent game is if you play as like nagato all the time and fight the things you fight in the TV show, and the computer club game, and maybe the episode where there on the island that would be about it

You clearly haven't lurked enough to see all freeware doujin games across the Internet.

There are things from fighting games, to the Phoenix Wright parody, to a side scrolling shooter.

Hey I had fun playing through Gyakuten Saiban without understanding half of what was going on.

Those are two completely different things. I can understand menus because I can read them. Most of the time I'll find something arbitrary and have to force it into some sort of idea catalog to understand what it means. Reading is one thing. Comprehension is another. :yuusaku:

Haha! :-P

No I can read the dialog. 2-1 was great practice for comprehension. Beyond that, I'm out of luck. There are too many words I don't know yet. Still, it's good to know I'm able to comprehend some of what's going on.

To be honest so am I. Sure the human brain can pick up on language but the potential seems to stop at 13. I started on this at 21. I just wish I knew where the drive came from. I didn't even think about this language until the start of the year then BOOM! Imma learn this right now. :lana:

when a game doesn't get translated you write an angry letter to the comapny saying to, and if that fails then you import the game and possibly a free loader if necesarry

Because everyone has the time to spend years learning a completely different language just to play a couple of video games.

Great.
What's next?
"Lucky Star: Learn To Cheer" for the Wii?

I have a weird feeling it'll play out like most anime games.
If it's 3D: Cell shading and boring after a few levels.
If it's 2D: Tedious and a bit dull.

It's happened to the best animes, so it could no doubt happen to this one.

Then again, I dunno. I never watched past the first few episodes for lack of understanding anything.

Actually, that reminds me of the dancing Haruhi game for the Wii released some time ago for Japan-only.

I only know one Haruhi game that indeed looks worth it. I think it was for the PSP (or PS2?) and it's RPG-esque.

You're both right. There were Haruhi games for Wii,PS2 & PSP. The Wii one was the dancing game. The PSP/PS2 games were both visual-novel games, although the PS2 one may have had some RPG element to it. I'm not sure though. :yuusaku:
