That's my opinion. Mother is freaking epic, glorious, and awesome. Especially Mother 3.

Mother 3 makes Final Fantasy 7 look like Hotel Mario.

Is incessant grinding your idea of "freaking epic, glorious and awesome?"

I love the game, but really.

I meant the story, especially Mother 3. No RPG has had such an amazing, vivid, emotional story like the Mother series. I've personally never played them because I CAN'T! Mother is Japan-only, and I hate emulators. I wasn't alive during Earthbound's time (I grew up with the Nintendo 64), and Mother 3 is also Japan-only.

And as many people have said, if you have to grind, you probably suck at the game.

How the hell can you praise a game you've never even played? I'm sorry, but that's the prime definition of blind worship.

I praise the story. It has an intricate, well-written plot that can break your heart. That's why I think it's so great. It has a fantastic story.

Wow... I never saw this topic before.
As can be seen by the userbar (with link to ESRB's rating) I'm excited about this game coming to the VC.
I fall into the list of people who have never played the game, and I probably would never have known of it (or them for that matter) were it not for Smash Bros.

And I plan to keep that uerbar up until the game cones out. =P

I can recall so many good memories from this game...

... and 2 BAD ones: Threed, and my sister looking for the "Sword of Kings" for multiple hours... *shivers and sobs*

Aww, you didn't like Threed? Threed was awesome! Threed's my third favorite area/town...Moonside is my favorite, and Winters being second.

I loved how the area was eerie, and taken over by zombies...the music was great too...you felt that sense of urgency/despire...then after freeing the town, the music was nice and relaxing, like you really did make a difference.

I do agree w/ the 1/128 item hunt though...those are a pain in the ass to get, it took me hours to get Jeff's ultimate weapon, and some star pendants.

The Graveyard's Ghosts and Flies scared me when I was young, to the point where I STILL have to get someone else to move my characters past the Graveyard area... And I am NOT KIDDING!!!
