Hey,
I love the PW games but as I'm on holiday soon, I wanted to take a new game with me and are there are any other sort of murder mystery/detective type games like that with an investigation phase?
I've already played Hotel Dusk, which was very good, but the 3rd person wandering around was hard at first.
Professor Layton was good too, but I had to use a guide on many of the puzzles. When is Professor Layton 2 out in the West?
Is Lifesigns any good? I read it was like PW, but with doctors :D

There hasn't been a peep out of Level 5 about Professor Layton and Pandora's Box. I don't need to mention Trace Memory, because if you've played Hotel Dusk then you likely know Trace Memory. There was another Detective Game that recently came out or something, it was mentioned in the Detective thread in What A, but I don't remember what the title was, or even if it was a US release.

There's Million Heir for the DS, but from what I hear, it's more like 'I SPY' or Where's Waldo then any traditional Mystery games. It looks to be littered with puns however.

If one is DESPERATE, they could try the "Touch Detective" games... but it honestly just made me feel old...
