But I think there could have been more fun games that could have won it. Metal Gear Solid 4, another overhyped, overrated piece of shit, is going to win it this year, so this year will be fucked, too. If Resident Evil 5 wins it next year, I might personally have to go down to Capcom, and shoot them in the face. Good games like Okami or Smash Brothers don't get these honors, only lame ass shooters and crappy ass Mario games do.

I dispute that. MGS4 had brilliant gameplay (albeit not suited to Metal Gear), awesome graphics, stunning VA work and great OST.
