As if that game doesn't have enough negative light (i think he saw how to drive from watching his parents do it).

Well, we can't fault him for lack of enthusiasm in the educational side of life.

Going so far as to break into his mother's car and drive himself.

Parents's fault. Obviously.

The article I read a while back didn't have as many details as this one. It implied that both parents were at home sleeping while the child stole the car. It also said that after the crash the child continued to walk to school.

The article the accompanies the video says that authorities think the child stood up to see out the window to drive the car. How is that possible? Did the child have the car in cruise control?

Also, before this incident apparently the father was ordere by the court not to let the children's mother be alone with this children (there is a four year old little brother too). The mother is obviously a very irresponsible individual, and it makes me wonder why a man of 40 years would put up with this from a woman of 26.

Lack of pity here.

If the little brat wishes to be winey wa-wa over a damn game and run away from home, possibly to now be in some crap where he can't play it ANYWAY, then he can cry in a ditch for all I care.

I don't see how it's the parents fault either. The mother sounds a bit screw loose but the dad did the right thing in taking it away if it was affecting him so badly.

But if the anti's use this to say we're all gonna go ape-shit and run away from home, I will be pissed.

I think a later article said the kid was found dead in the woods.

'Which is a horrendous game for anyone under the age of 25 to see,' talking about GTA4. (The news video)

Ah ha ha ha, WHAT? That's bullshit. -.- Most people over the age of 17 should have enough sense NOT to do that shit, (and it's rated M for 17+ anyway), and I played GTA3 at the age of 20, so... yeah.

Though I guess I can't say the same for the OTHER half of humanity, who thinks if they can do it in a game, they can do it in real life. (Not pointing at the kid.)

Glad he's safe though.

Really sad to hear about the 15 year old, though. =\ Not much I can say that everyone else hasn't said.

I first found out about this on the Wii's News Channel... It didn't mention anything about GTA though...
I can't believe that any responsible parent would let a 6-year-old watch them play GTA.
I played GTA3 once when I was 10 or something... my mum doesn't know about it yet.
