I like the game pretty much this far (guess I'm a bit more than halfway through) although I've been neglecting it in favor of FFT and Project Zero lately. Some of the music is pretty awesome, I'd expect nothing else of Koshiro though.
I thought it's pretty cool that the Bushido class uses actual kenjutsu stances as skills

This is more of a throwback to yonder times. Ever play Nethack? Same basic principle. The plot is "This is a freakin' huge dungeon. Get to the bottom." Not to be cruel to the game, but it's mainly getting stronger and going slightly farther. Also, it is one of the longest games currently out. I doubt I'll have finished it in 2 months, while every single other RPG I've played I've finished in 2 weeks at most (with the exception of FFXII, due to unexpected real life circumstances).
