I've heard a lot of mixed reviews of this game, so I wanted to know what you all think.

I don't trust IGN reviews.

I have a Wii, by the way.

YES.

Seriously, this is a really good game, but it's VERY long, so if you don't like really time consuming games I don't suggest this one. One of the most beautiful looking games I've ever played.

It's one of my favorites, and I'd highly recommend it.

I have the PS2 version, so I don't know how well it plays on the Wii, but I think you'd be happy with either.

I have the PS2 version, but having it on the Wii is much much better methinks. Then the brush commands would be more realistic. xD Personally I'd say it's a very good game. Its gameplay is unique and quite flexible too, not to mention the graphics look pretty damn sweet. Go for it, you won't regret getting it. :3

How long is it, exactly?

(Thinking of getting it, too.)

It is a very good game. If you're into action-adventure games like The Legend of Zelda, then definately pick this up.

I clocked in the ending at around 20 hours, and that was without doing all of the extra quests and such. Doing those brings the total to around 30 hours, I'd guess.

HELL YES.

And as someone who has played both the PS2 and Wii versions, I'd have to say that I liked the PS2 version much better.

...the first time I finished it in 60 hours ._. (no extra quests), then the second time again 60 hours (but I did the extra stuff), now I finish it in 20 hours.
Well it's true that during my first playthrough I liked to run around doing nothing :D

I wonder if this will be locked...

Controls suck, but it's actually one of the few pretty decent games on the Wii. Go for it.

EDIT: Realised I was cut. Oh. xD

To be fair, I haven't finished the game yet, but I'm already over thirty hours. I'm in the last area, but I'm terrible and kept getting killed early on.

I LOVE OKAMI. The PS2 version. I did hear some mixed reviews of the Wii version, because some of the controls were awkward, but I think it would be worth it!

Just bumping to say, word on the street is that there's another Okami game possibly coming up, Okamiden.

I've yet to get concrete details from this week's Famitsu but apparently it's for the DS. More info'll probably be up tonight or tomorrow. :shoe:
