It's the same price as the old DSi. At least in Japan.

So NOA is the wallet-raper, not general Nintendo.

Great.

Just great.

My point exactly.

EDIT: By the way, my opinion is somewhat neutral. I don't think it's a bad idea, but I'll stick with my original DSi.

I'm still rocking it old-school with the DS Brick. Even though bigger screens would be nice (my vision is absolutely terrible even WITH my glasses on), why should I pay full-price for a new DS when my old one is working just fine?

The same reason why you should buy a hearing aid when your hearing is just fine.

Not to you specifically, Phantomgamer, but to EVERYONE; This new DSi is NOT meant for you and Nintendo could honestly care less about you not wanting it. They didn't design it for you and they're not expecting you to buy it. Anyone arguing or crying about this new design (of many to come. Come on, we've known this was going to happen since the original DSi was announced) might as well be upset over Sony making new TV models or Samsung making new cell phone models. Absolutely nobody is either expecting you or pressuring you to buy this new DSi.

What I think people are mad about is that it bigger. To go from DSlite to DSi they got rid of the GBA part. Now it bigger you think they would add it back in.

The only problem I see is that the face buttons and control pad are still so pathetically small. They don't make those phones with number pad buttons over an inch wide for young people.

The control pad and face buttons should have been improved/increased in size.
