Does anyone think dlc/microtransations for games has got abit out of hand ? I mean with the whole issue of taking bits out of games to re-sell them later. Different coloured outfits in fighting games day one dlc etc |

I am put off buying consoles now due to this and just seems too money grabbing :( |

Well majority of DLC seems to be stuff that isn't necessary to play the game. Hyrule Warriors adds gameplay with its DLC, but you can play and enjoy the game enough without it. And it takes less time since you only have 1 Adventure Map to deal with instead of 5. Well, 2 in total if you count the Reward Map. C-A |

Content made after the game was completed sold as DLC is fine. What isn't fine is overpricing them. Apparently Namco decided that costumes for Tales of Graces f cost $3.99 each. They're asking me to pay 6.67% of the game's sale price for a purely aesthetic change. Who in their right mind would pay that much? |
