P3P improvements in FES presentation would make me froth in the mouth, honestly. Not that I didn't like how it was executed in the portable console - I think they actually did a damn good job given the limitations, and I loved being able to set my PSP to sleep smack in the middle of Tartarus - but seeing those Social Links play out with actual 3d models would be OSM. <3
I'm actually in the middle of my NG+ run, but I haven't touched the game for a long time because of school and other real-life obligations. I just passed the dreaded October scene, and my party is all set when it comes to levels and equipment, so it should be smooth sailing from there. Shinji ending FFFF. So close... yet so far. ;A;

Oh, do items carry over when you start a New Game +? I haven't been using skill cards or stat boost cards at all.

Awww, you didn't get to max Moon? :< Akihiko's been the only one who's ever taken a hit for my FeMC (it was Hama too, woo boy) in all 146-ish hours of playtime.
All your equipment (including those in the inventory), money, items acquired from maxing social links, and EXP are all that carries over to NG+; so if I were you I'd start using those cards. xD No carry overs in Hard mode and above, though - and no special endings even if it is a NG+. Fair warning.

And nooo, I figured I'd have more time to work on it. At the rate I'm going, I'll be lucky to max half of my links: I'm at the end of November and only managed Death, Hanged Man, and Hierophant so far. Guess that's what I get for spending the first half of the game focused on raising my stats instead of hanging out with people...
I think Koromaru took a hit for me, too. Both were from instant death spells, since I haven't come close to dying from damage in quite a while.

I wasn't able to max all my links on my first run, either. I REFUSE TO USE A GUIDE RAAAAH. *asserts her individuality* 9*A*)9 But luckily I was able to max Moon - the shipper in me couldn't bear ignoring a Shinji with his tiny blinking exclamation mark. xD There's always NG+, I suppose?

The fact that P3P had much friendly UI, faster pace and portability meant that I could play it a ton, I beat it seven times and I'm on my eighth playthrough (Not sure why I'm still playing XD).
I pretty much 100% the game, got 100% compendium, beat the game on Maniac difficulty, beat both secret bosses, got most of the more powerful personas to level 99, etc. ^^
Also, Mara (With my own special skillset):
Let us dye the world in despair, and bring a dismal end to this fairy tale.

I still have to buy P3P btw, but I just replayed P3FES during summer so I'm not gonna do antother playtrough soon. Is hard mode doable btw?
I guess it's gonna be a lot easyer and less frutrating now you can controll al of your party memebers, so I though of going for hard mode this time around...

If you finished FES with no trouble, I imagine you can handle Hard on P3P. Along with being able to directly control your party, it's a lot easier to grind in P3P since your team doesn't get tired until the next day. In exchange, you don't get free healing by going back to the entrance; you have to pay for it at the save clock (but money flows like water in this game so that's hardly an issue.)

I never played the original Persona 3, but I got the remake two weeks ago, and have been playing religiously every weekend. So far, I'm at July 8, just after the Lovers battle, and I've already maxed out Emperor and Magician (those were the easiest for me, I swear to God), about to max out Chariot (maybe... two ranks left?), at level 22.
God, I didn't realize how much I would love all these characters. Junpei's my favorite main: he's friggin' hilarious, super effective with physical attacks (although he sucks with fire, I swear), and I almost cried at the end of his Social Link. Almost.
Also... am I weird for liking Bebe and Hidetoshi' S.Links the most? I mean, come on...

I spent too much time focusing on being a good student and learning to be sexy. But hey, that's what New Game + is for!
Speaking of, this game has some weird glitches. In my first playthrough, during Yukari's "I've been keeping so much from her" spiel, the text uses her, she, etc., but her voice uses male pronouns. I just passed that part in NG+ and now she's speaking with feminine pronouns.
I guess it's nice that that part was 'fixed', but it's still odd.
