As big, fat, and ugly as it is, with that stuff on, you can chuck your DS as hard as you can at a brick wall without leaving even a scratch. It's just an amazing invention.

Well NDSi XL and LL and so on were started with about 200$ so, even if it's Nintendo we're speaking of I think the first price could be 250$. That is, in Japan: 250€ in Europe (>300$)

Well if it's gonna have like all the internet stuff and all that "i" had I suppose it'll be not -region free. That's the way they encourage more and more 3rd party companies to import their stuff etc.

edit: I just checked THIS page and I found a lot 3DS titles there, they say they all come out 31st December NEXT YEAR

My predictions for the event (which, according to sources, starts at 1 AM EST) are:
-Japanese 3DS release date is in the second half of November for Japan. Later tomorrow, or in a couple of days, Nintendo of America and of Europe will send press releases stating a mid-March date for both North America and Europe (or March for NA and April for Europe)
-Price is over 20,000 yen for Japan, maybe 20,500, not going over 22,500. Aforementioned press releases detail $200-$220 price for NA and same price in Euros for Europe.
-Launch colors will be Dark Grey, Blue and Red, same ones showed in the Nintendo E3 site (e3.nintendo.com).
-We'll see more screens and titles of the most expected (and most hyped by Nintendo) 3DS titles, such as Kid Icarus, Mario Kart, Metal Gear Solid, Nintendogs, Resident Evil, Ocarina of Time, Paper Mario, Layton 5, StarFox, Pilotwings, Animal Crossing, Dead or Alive, and Super Street Fighter IV. Some of these will be launch titles, like Kid Icarus (obviously), Mario Kart, Nintendogs, Ocarina of Time, Paper Mario, StarFox, and maybe Pilotwings and Animal Crossing. The rest will all come out in 2011.
-New games announced, maybe including Assassin's Creed 3D and other big names, such as Saint's Row. It would be too much, but I'm praying for No More Heroes 3DS.
-3DSWare will be announced. Bunch of amazing games like the Art Style series, Bit.Trip and maybe, if they're smart enough, World of Goo 3D. Other more casual games destined to take advantage of the motion sensor and camera. There's also a possibility of a 3DS Virtual Console, of which StarFox and Ocarina would be part of. If this service is announced, expect a lot more N64 titles. If it isn't, then expect StarFox and Ocarina to be pre-installed with 3DS systems or part of a big pack of games, both available at launch.
