But I wasn't surviving on 100's. I was getting a lot of 300's, and only a FEW (as in, maybe one every strings of beats) and by the end of the song, I'd simply die while playing due to the fact that the Elite-O Meter is falling constantly.
It's not a complaint about getting penalized for 100's, so much as it's a complaint that I get penalized WHILE the Elite-O Meter is perpetually going down.

Yes. I find that if you press the stylus down whenever a spinner is coming up and start spinning a half second before, it makes it far easier. I also spin it rather quickly. :D

I just got an "S" on Jumpin' Jack Flash on Very Hard. Working on getting "S" ranks on all the others. Currently have 4 "S" ranks on Very Hard. Got an "A" on Let's Dance, yet I didn't miss any. /angry

It's a bit of a shame that there aren't any real fan sites for this series yet. Hopefully with Ouendan 2 coming and with a much deserved announcement of EBA2, stuff will start popping up.
In any case, it's a really fun game. I'm trying to talk my friend into getting it so that we can do real multiplayer stuff.

I love Ouendan and EBA, but my DS Lite is broken and in California for repairs, and my regular DS's touchscreen is screwy. Not broken, but the detection is off and recalibrating it is futile. :(

Ain't it the truth. I got 6 million points and to get an S rank, you have to get at least SOME bonus points on the spinners.
HINT: I have found that using an original DS model with a DS LITE stylus makes it easier to play the end of the level, where you go all around the flippin screen

the game is a bit slow with the regular DS wireless link, and wi-fi might make it slower.
Maybe they'll make #2 for wi-fi...
