Taboo Sho's a difficult one. I did beat him but can't remember the exact details of it.
But Fusions work well, also try to level up and eat (medicines work the best, but try to raise your Attack and HP). Long-distance attacks like bullets, Rhyme etc. can work too. Boomerangs I haven't tried, but I'm guessing they'd be good. Heal up, heal up, heal up.
If you're working on the Secret Reports (I assume you are), open the Ultimate-difficulty (don't even need a Scarletite for it!). Find some Taboo Noise and get pins from them (like Wolf, which makes dragging Neku around cause damage to enemies as well as not taking damage yourself while at it).
Good luck with Taboo Sho, he's a tough one and personally, I try to avoid him now that I've beat his punk ass up on Hard.

Oh good god, I can't exactly remember what brands I use...but D+B is MURDER. I don't use it unless I absolutely must.
Rhyme's a favorite and Pig I use to get more pins. Some Natural Puppy too.
I really can't imagine how they'd make TWEWY 2 happen...
On a Wii anyway, but even if it's for the DS (assuming one's coming) they have to make a whole new storyline. No way can Neku or the player handle yet another round with the same people.

I really don't know anything about how the gameplay works, it's basically the same as how I got into the AA series: I read it was awesome, so I just bought it and hoped for the best :D
And I dislike Squenix RPG"s for some reason, but this was a new idea so I though it would have some originality, so please don't say it uses the same lame skillnames as FF KH...
Any stuff to watch our for/ not to miss?

DO NOT WASTE YOUR SCARLETITES.
SERIOUSLY.
The first play-through you get one every day. After that, farming for them is ABSOLUTE HELL (Either trading 10 shadow matters, which are dropped by Taboo noise on Ultimate, or getting them from defeating Reaper Beat on Ultimate over and over again). And the best stickers aren't even available until after you finish the game! (Unlimited stomach, chain 16, etc.)
Save your scarletites for fusion level-ups and needed stickers, and don't splurge on Shiki buffs or whatever (unless you like playing with Shiki, idk).
Who's everyone's favourite partner? Battle-wise, I mean. I lo~ove Joshua for A) his levitation, which makes him practically invincible, B) his card-selection thing which makes it easiest to get fusion if you're paying no attention whatsoever to the top screen, and C) HIS FECKIN' JESUS BEAMS. I liked Beat, but I could never get the hang of his card-matching thing. I always ended up getting burned and losing my beautiful chain =(

I use Beat if I need brute power (plus I've got enough threads to make the lv2-fusion pop up right at the start of the battle).

Midnight, you try to get two of the same "cards" next to each other (eg. two hearts side-by-side, for easy way to it try to end the combo with a branch that has two of the same), and once you do, a skull starts showing up in the combo-branches. Get that, and you get a +1 to the Fusion count. If there are more than one two-of-the-same side-by-side, you get a plus from each of them too.

Ah, thanks! I guess I get it more now. I still kinda need to practice with him, because generally in battles I don't really pay much attention to the top screen (who needs to, when you have JESUSBEAMS) and I keep on missing the skull. It's a kind of nice balance between slaughtering monsters and playing a card game XD
I use Beat occasionally - for fast-moving bosses like Uzuki/Kariya, Sho, etc. (ironically Reaper Beat fits right into that category) because Joshua just takes too long to deal decent damage, especially when the opponent keeps switching from one side of the screen to the other. Also those annoying giant elephant Noise who stamp the ground and keep knocking my poor Joshua down from the sky~
Ach, what winds me up the most about this game is when you time Fusion wrong and the enemy's in the middle of teleporting or conveniently just not on-screen and all the attack damage is wasted. I really feel like murdering something around then.

I know the feeling too! Especially with Sho it's horrible.
Oh, and big/not so big news, I have found a way to make the videos of the game look good, so an LP is very likely to be done!
Hopefully the word of this amazing game will be spread even further (if that's humanly possible).

As for this stuff on a TWEWY2, I'd love a sequel, maybe for 3DS. A good idea I heard for the game was it to be set in New York with new characters, new locations, new fashions, and much more.

Actually, Shibuya is only a part of Tokyo...and in my understanding, Shibuya isn't the only place where The Game is hosted. Possibly in Roppongi? Other parts?
Plus, an international Game could be kind of interesting, or so I think.
