But after seeing Reshiram (or more like how bad Zekrom was,) I'm getting White.
And what gave you guys the idea that Reshiram would be for Black? Would that make much sense? It hasn't been confirmed, but it'd be best to assume their colors go with the games.

Anyways. I'm really excited for these games now. A lot of people seem to be bitching about it, but I think it's really cool. I've been playing pokemon since it came out... and I'm actually really excited for a change in the series. :D

Actually, there's a flaw in your statement.
Mario never changed as a main video game franchise in it's 3D moments. Sunshine doesn't count, because people complain it's too different. So what, it's got a fucking water gun and not in the Mushroom Kingdom. And also, forums didn't exist back then. Secondly, stage themes and enemies can be changed from sequel to sequel if it's a new one. So please, retract that statement and have a nice day.

They could represent yin-yang. Infact, thats probably it. Just looking at the box art almost proves its that way.
I would love it if they incorparated karma and yin-yang into it. Maybe in white you get 'white' versions of the pokemon, and in black you get the evil versions or something. Like, the same but different...? Gah, its hard to explain. Anyway, glad for the change. D/P/P wasn't too inivative, so looking forward to something new.

I agree with this. Reshiram is very pokemon-ish, but Zekrom was just... not. I think it was its sleekness and texture. I couldn't really place what I thought it looked like, but I guess kinda like digimon. Of course, I always wanted White ;)
Anyway, Zekrom's gotta be a dark type. (Unless Reshiram is dark and Zekrom is whatever ppl think Reshiram will be, which would be awesome too.) Perhaps they will create a new 'light' type? How would it work? But if the types of Reshiram, Zekrom, and the 3rd legendary are light/dragon, dark/dragon, and light/dark, I think that would be cool :)

Anyway Zekrom is UGLY. It looks like several previous legendaries cut and pasted together. But I like its tail.
The white legend (on Black) is nice. Or at least, better than Dialga and Palkia, who were hideous. So probably going to get Black version although I'll wait for other game exclusives... But black is a better colour than white...
I wonder what types they are?

If I were an employee at a GameStop or any other retailer, every time somebody got White, I would yell "YOU RACIST!" and force them to switch to Black or buy both. They would probably buy both, so I would be doubling sales of the being, therefore being the best employee ever.

Pokémon's still remaining with its same general idea. We've seen battle scenes, and the turn-based battle system with the same health bar design seems to still be there.

If you say Sunshine doesn't count because it's been called different, couldn't you just say that Black and White don't count and not care about the changes?
So what, it's got a fucking water gun and not in the Mushroom Kingdom.
So it's keeping the same general Mario/a few stages but with multiple tasks/more complex controls/3D mechanics we saw in 64. Pokémon's keeping the same tile-walking/turn-based battles/two versions ideas we've seen from the beginning.
And also, forums didn't exist back then.

So towns/Pokémon Centers/caves and Pokémon can be changed, because it's a sequel.

From what I can tell, it's when you play through a Pokemon game with only the starter, the weak mammal, and the weak bird as your main team. Not sure whether or not you actually evolve them though.

(Can't resist peeking in, since there prolly won't be news for a while xD)
A Nuzlocke run has the following basic rules:
1) The first pokemon you encounter in any place is the ONLY pokemon you can catch. And that specific one, so if you kill it, too bad.
2) If a pokemon faints, it's dead, and can't be used ever again. (Some people release them, but I just put them in my PC box called "Dead :(")
That's what I'm doing for my Pearl run-through. I'm gonna do the same for my White runthrough, with one little change... I'm gonna let myself catch any pokemon I want; it's just that I'll only be able to use the first pokemon I encounter on any route. This way I can get any pokemon I think I cool :)

But I would no way be able to do it. I love to chop and change my team all the way through to the end until I find a combo I am happy with. Not the best thing to do, however thats just how I work.
