I'm stuck in one of the later levels of Trauma Center. My nephew finished the game and has completed the first 2 X missions though.

Final Fantasy VII. I got stuck on the final fight with Sephiroth and didn't want to sit through his summoning of Meteor over and over.

Final Fantasy VIII. I got to the final castle, and it says that my items, magic, GF's, and even save is disabled. I have to go through several rooms fighting huge monsters, and slowly regain them. I put the game down, and havn't been back yet.

Hmm. Half-Life 1's been giving me a ton of trouble (lol I'm trigger happy~!)

Like everyone else, I've been ARGH stuck on Truama Center, But I'm determined to finish it. And it's little X missions too.

But like someone said before, I don't finish games because they suck, not because they're hard. xD

Fire Emblem: I just don't know what it is. Maybe I suck, maybe i'm impatient, but I can't beat it.
Sonic Adventure 2 Battle: I can't get all 180 emblems. The chao, the Knuckles missions...it's ugh, hard.

Neither of these were really a problem for me. I had gotten a gold chocobo and so had KotR and mime, so Sephy was easy for me.

Likewise in FFVIII, I had all the max weapons and so my attack was pretty good when everything else was locked.

BloodRayne 2. I couldn't quite get the knack of how to use the grappling hook properly and how to do impaling without getting the living daylights kicked out of me first. I put it down and haven't been back since.

My list of games which have my number and causes me to suffer insomnia are:

Megaman ZX: Never finished the final boss. Got close loads of times, though... the worrying thing is, I've beaten Omega-Zero, I just can't beat the last dude. Weird, ne?

Viewtiful Joe: Alistor's level has me marked... damn helicopters!

Dynamite Heady: Spinderella. For those who know, I shouldn't have to say more.

Trauma Centre: X... Missions... Triangle... GUILT... So... Evil.... *die*

Those be all for now, but who knows, with Virtual Console about and Capcom becoming more and more sadistic, I'm sure the list will grow like a monster being hit by Rita's staff.

about the MMZX thing..yeah. weird indeed compadre. omega zero is toughet than serpent.

speaking of that game...I haven't been able to finish it 100%...I'm still missing that damn subtank in flammole's stage...not bothering with it anymore. too tough Larry

Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life ; It gets too boring after your first couple of years! D:

Trauma Center: Second Opinion ; That bomb mission is beyond evil. I always twitch my hand JUUUUST a little bit in the wrong direction when lasering the panels and that makes for an insta-fail

Lost in Blue: Aside from the fact that the kids have the WORST metabolisim ever, I can't seem to get past the last room in the temple

DDR Supernova Story Mode: I trip easily.. >>;

Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magik Obscura ; To be fair, the second disc got lost one day along the line, but I was never able to figure out what the hell I needed to do. That's kinda why I prefer JRPGs.

Wild ARMs: Alter Code F ; I'm actually in the last dungeon right now, but I really want to do all the sidequests, and I'm about 50 levels short of actually being able to do them. Which sucks, because I can never encounter the damn enemies that give off easy exp. if defeated correctly. (Damn you Mega-Apples. D< )

It's not that I didn't have the gameplay down. It was the freaking quests. Some of them I didn't have any idea what to do on. The only parts I can really remember were stealing the back room key from Ritzy (why do I remember his name?) the shop keeper in the first town, and then selling the camera to him, and going and getting it back over and over again, the whole "ZOMG MAGIC AND TECHNOLOGY CAN'T COEXIST" plot, and then being in some random ass town, sneaking into some guy's manor and getting raped by half-orc guards.

Oh yeah, and the fact that online play sucked, and never connected for me.

That was mainly for the fact that I was S-Ranking it. No HT, and had to speed through it. But the thing is, gel both neutralizes the bleeding of cuts and heals a bit, so keeping some of it on the screen at all times by spreading a lot over cuts keeps things easy. And by using the syringe while the gel is on, the healing won't go to waste due to bleeding either.

Also, the kyriaki have a cut limit, where once they cut the patient up enough, they stop making cuts unless you scalpel them out. Once you scalpel them out, you can fix as many cuts as they made coming up without them making more.

Ocarina of Time Master's Quest: Damn whale level.. I hated it the first time around, and Master's Quest is just a bitch.
One Piece Treasure Battle: Two problems with this: 1) It's an import, and for some reason the Japanese kana show up as random symbols, so I can't figure anything out. 2) I have all the characters unlocked except for Buggy. I can't get all of his cards.... ;3;
Trauma Center Second Opinion: Episode Z-2: Miracle Episode 3-10: Pandora's Box. Christ. I don't understand what to do.

I heard if you let the Kyriaki slash up the patient too much, it lags the game though. True/False? I take it isn't true?

Also: When you cut out the Kyriaki, do you have an infinite amount of time to laser them? (And thusly, suture all the cuts and maybe even heal?) I always assumed after a set period, they'd go back under the skin...organs. You know what I mean. @_@ Anyway, I always killed them ASAP so I never bothered to figure it out for myself.

I know this wasn't directed at me but I'll answer since I never beat X1 but have attempted many times.

The game does slow down a bit from all the cuts. It actually helps because its like a ghetto HT, but don't let your guard down, your patient is in a near-death status by the time that even happens.

The Kyriaki, I believe do go back under the surface if left unattended, so even when you scapel them out, you have to be quick with your decisions and movements.

I heard X1 Mission is the hardest of all X missions, but somehow I can't believe that after fighting Savato in the final mission for the storyline. Zenitora

It's encouraging to hear that the lag is more of an advantage than a disadvantage at least. Hearing the time limit with the Kyriaki... not so much. My silver ray of hope is dashed. ;A; "Quick" is not what I would call my actions on that stage. @_@ It's more like a constant state of panic. "OMG OMG DON'T DIE OH GOD WHY ARE YOU BLEEDING STOP BLEEDING WHERE DID I PUT MY STYLUS OH GOD" and then by that time they're usually dead.

But I'll take whatever advice I can at this point, so thanks. ;-; I actually feel... almost motivated to pick up the game and try again.

Sadly, I was feely really cocky after I finished the Savato level. "hohoho Grade A after three tries I'm so good hohoho X missions will be nothing"

I felt the same way after I finished the Savato level. The X missions made my skill feel like child's play. I seriously think X1 requires a great deal of skill, focus, and luck. You got to have pinpoint precise movements that are not sluggish or else you will fail. Not only that you need to strategize because your patient has as much health as a Lvl1 person in an RPG fighting the final boss. The gel/syringe strategy mentioned will and is the only thing that will work for fighting this damn GUILT.

If I ever beat this mission I might attempt at beating Ninja Gaiden next. -_-

Concerning Trauma Center :

I love games that aren't afraid to kick my ass, and so Trauma Center was up my alley. I played that for ages until I could do all 5 of those Kyriaki patients in about half the time you get alloted. I could do Savato (with a great degree of difficulty) whilst on a bus, for crying out loud.

Then along came X1, and by god I tried and tried at that. I should have kept a log of how many times I tried that damn mission. I think I got past the first wave of Kyriaki once or twice before eventually losing the patient.

I think the reason I can't proceed is half that I'm not good enough, and half that I don't WANT to do it because then I'll have to contend with Deftera, Triti and all those other good strains of GUILT. (Deftera was pretty easy if I recall, though)

Trauma Center reminds me of the old days where games were harder than they are now and we had to rely on improving or sheer dumb luck just to win. I honestly think most games nowadays are becoming too easy, maybe cause companies might focus more on graphics than gameplay

Still workin on Ninja Gaiden....jeeze...

Final Fantasy VIII. I got right to the end and I just couldn't for the life of me manage to beat the last boss. It probably had something to do with the fact that I had only levelled Squall to level 100, while everybody else was in their 40's (and poor Selphie hadn't been touched since level 9).

Just keep Squall in low health and use limit breaks over and over again by canceling out the selection menu until it comes up. You could use Aura too if you're worried about him dying. That's pretty much how you beat anybody in that game because the limit break system is so broken ='/

Really? I mean sure they're hard, but if you have your characters leveled high enough and have a good basic strategy, it should be doable.

Why didn't you ever beat Majora's Mask? Did you not collect all the masks? Because if you managed to collect them all, it's kinda impossible NOT to win unless you decide not to use the last mask. If you didn't, that would explain why the last boss was hard.

As for me, I've beaten all of my games. But then on the other hand, I never had very many to begin with... Well, I guess I never beat tetris... I heard that you win if you get rid of ALL the blocks.

I'm the exact same way, unless SOME game comes out I have to have, and play it over that, as is the case with FFXII. But, I don't have a single game in my library (With FFXII as an exception) that I haven't beaten...unless TC counts with the Guilt extra missions.

Hard games I haven't bothered to beat yet...

Trauma Center. X missions...too hard.

Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow. I did get the bad ending, but I couldn't get the good one thanks to Death. I just don't feel motivated enough to level up.

Advance Wars: Dual Strike. There's a fog of war mission, I forget which one, that drives me nuts. I could probably beat it if I kept trying, but I just don't want to.

Megaman 1. The last level is extremely hard and not all that fun.

That's all I can think of right now.

Digimon World 3 - Mostly I can't beat it because my brother hid it out of fear of me beating it first, but the strength of the enemies in that game, even while overleveled, is just absurd.

Other than that, I usually beat every game I come across without many challenges.
