Lots of back tracking, running around without knowing what to do, and broken bosses if you don't collect every single possible power-up in the game. I don't care much for adventure side-scrollers. Metroid Prime fails equally as much. Give me Mario anyday.
Prince of Persia
Sands of Time was, like, the only good game in the series. The 2-D versions sucked donkey ass and every other 3-D version is so gloomy, visually underwhelming, uninspiring, and filled with complicated and situational battle mechanics, enemies that WON'T FREAKING DIE NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES YOU KILL THEM, and puzzles so obvious that they're complicated.
Medal of Honor
Okay, I don't get what the hype about all this "totally radical-awesome WWII shooter series". No. It's just a run-and-gun, one-man operation WWII game where the player is basically Neo saving the world all by his lonesome self. It doesn't matter if your teammates die because the game is fixed so that they come back everytime and you can just storm the whole enemy base by yourself, thus eliminating any need to have them there at all. Generic music and boring visuals don't help it either.
Madden
Sports games fail in general because all the people who play them are too lazy to go out and play them on their owns. Games like these are basically for pansies who are afraid to get dog piled by 11 or w/e men not to mention that the gameplay is exactly the same as actual football. By making these games you're basically eliminating the need to get out and get the real experience which nobody obviously wants. Oh, and every game is the same as the last.

Final Fantasy:I REALLY HATE THE FANS. Especially 7. Though I liked this article special in Game informer(?) where they criticize "TEH BEST GAMES EVA". I was really glad they put FF7 in there
Halo: Yes its pretty fun. But I doubt it revolutionized FPS's. Seriously. Put the mic down, you're not cool when you spout a billion dirty words and then teabag people.

And I didn're really like Lost Magic either. I had heard a lot about it, but it's really not that interesting to me. The storyline might be good, but I didn't like the battles. I found it hard to move your character and you're pawns. I'm just going to stick with pokemon, OK?
And I hate every Madden game alive. Yes, I know I'm a girl, but I love watching baseball and football at times, but the gameplay is so... so... SOOOOO...
I just don't get it, and it's never fun to watch

I dunno; I avoid games that I don't like. Somehave failed to deliver, just aren't as good as thier successors or just don't live up to the hype, but none of them are truly bad.
I mean, KHII was repetitive, but the graphics and music were good and the gameplay was fun for the first part.
I don't like the Resi or Metorid games simply because I don't like shooters.
Maybe FFVII doesn't deserve all the hype it gets, but it is a long, in-depth game in its own right, I think. People would like it more without all the rabid fans, but that doesn't alter the game's content at all.

It's a decent game in its own right (I'd buy it just for the minigames), but you get way more out of it if you bring your own Pokémon.

Yes, yes Madden is the most boring game to watch in the world. A Mario sports game is more interesting. At least the characters aren't all overly buff and slightly heavy-set short haired early 30's men. Mario has class! And, is his games, you don't have to be alive OR have feet to play soccer! Boo for the win!
