Quality has nothing to do with the amount of users.
Users who have a Kaillera add-on can connect and compete with other users, no matter what emulator is used (as long as they're up to date, that's all).

Please know what you're about to say and back up your argument.

I recently got Street Fighter Alpha Anthology. I have this to say: The OSU marching band, when wearing their berets, bears a striking resemblance to Rolento.

Rolento isn't anything to do with those guys.

He's the grenade throwing military stooge from Final Fight. And therefore is indirectly related to Sodom, who also worked for Mad Gear once upon a time, in the late eighties.

SAY IT, WHO IS THE REAL LEADER.

Hell, Sodom wishes he was Japanese. But he ain't.

Rolento has never appeared in Ouendan. As for the Ohio State picture, the relevance to that escapes me entirely.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rolento

As far as I have always known, Rolento was infact, a soldier. Most likely inspired by the Colonel of GOLAN/Army of God, from Hokuto no Ken.

Ah, no. Never said that.

I said he's not from Ouendan, and doesn't even remotely seem to follow the principle of it. You're skirting the issue here. Entirely.

Yes, he's a character from the earlier Capcom scrolling beat 'em up Final Fight that eventually made it into the prequel series for Street-Fighter, Street-Fighter Alpha. Along with Sodom, who was also a Boss for the game Final Fight.

I'm lost, as to the point of the last five minutes of my life, right now.

However. All I ever play are two dimensional fighting games. I kind of hope I know what I'm talking about, when I've spent virtually my entire life being mediocre at them.

What could this mean? It's said to be revealed at October 15.

If it's another Street Fighter 2 remake, I'ma choke a bitch. Hopefully, this may get me back into the series, if it's something new.

This may be somewhat irrelevant to what this was all about from the beginning, but I'm just going to let it out, so if that's fine...

I dislike Street Fighter II and it's characters (except Chun-Li, who is always nice in my book). It's the only thing Capcom whored the HELL out of, and they still do. And when SFIII came out, which was superior to II in every way, everyone stopped caring. The timing couldn't be worse.

Way to go, Capcom! =/

I do hope this new film will be interesting though. As bad as the Hollywood production of it years back was, I strangely enjoy watching it for all the wrong reasons. Heh.

But really, don't let that bother you. Again, I just wanted to say what was on my mind. ^^'

Forgot to mention this too, but despite hating the II series, I still play the games and all. It's just that I don't like how Capcom treated it as a cash cow.

That wouldn't make any sense since there's already Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix (...LOL) in the works. The producer of the game who announced the news is talking about something else.

Over at GameFAQs, people's guesses are:
-Street Fighter IV
-Mega Man or Ryu in Super Smash Bros Brawl which caused the delay.
-Some action game starring Chun-Li that was mentioned earlier.
-Something to do with Monster Hunter 3 on the Wii.
-Something to do with Darkstalkers.

Heh. Gamers say the darnest things.

My personal opinion: Street Fighter EX Plus Alpha 2 Turbo Force Special Millenium Zero Edition.

I've always liked SNK fighters more (see my sig/avy), but I have a big soft spot in my heart for Street Fighter. I loved playing with Sakura in Alpha 3 and Chun-Li as well. I guess the best thing for me is Capcom versus SNK, huh?

I agree that Street Fighter III is a sequel done right!
It only had three versions and they had their reasons for it. If it's gonna be Street Fighter IV (Duke Nukem Forever has a better chance of being released.) I want to see it done that way instead of this: http://omfgstreetfighter.ytmnd.com

I love the King of Fighters series. While I prefer Street Fighter's gameplay/enigne(s), it's still great fun. Too bad I can't seem to get King of Fighters XI. :/
Favourite character: Leona by far.

I got tired of King of Fighters myself. It wasn't as interesting to me after they started introducing Ash Crimson... which one was that... 2003? 2004? I've lost track.

Which probably explains why I've turned to enjoying the Power Instinct series most of all. I still play the games now and then, though.

On another note, Leona is my favorite too. You know... what I find most amusing in relation to that is that Frank (Fighter's Generation, the website) once called her a "Cammy-wannabe". I find that amusing in it's ignorance. Just cause, what, she's an army chick too?

Which reminds me, I especially hate Cammy. XD

I have Street Fighter Alpha Anthology, and the Hyper Street Fighter Alpha mode in that collection is fun!!

Well, new KOFs aren't much to write about home about, it's true. Dream Match '99 is one of my absolute favorite games ever, but after that things started to head downhill. Either way, I love Last Blade most of all. Garou: Mark of the Wolves was pretty kickass too.

What's not to love about Street Fighter, though? It has many memorable characters and an ambiguously gay anime series that cracks me up. XD

The only memorable characters are everyone in SFII... considering that's all we got at the time (not counting Alpha's, which expanded upon it).

I found the anime series amusing though. But Ryu just didn't look cool without his red headband... =(

From what I've seen, nearly ALL movies based off of games result poorly. Therefore, it would not be ideal to try to make ANOTHER attempt at a Street Fighter movie.
