These are the games that reminded of my friends from 3 years ago.
I will always have these games in my head always.

Did these friends die in a car crash or something? Because that's not funny, Dampe died in a car crash and he didn't bloody well finish his 2D version of Ocarina of Time. >:/

No I just don't see them any more. Anyways on topic here. Golden Sun because this was my first Gameboy Advance game!

Oh god, Tetris. When you're not playing Tetris, you're playing Tetris.

I'll never play Super Mario World ever again. I played it to death since before I was five and I still get anxiety from the 'death' sfx. :yogi:

Hmm, the first Turtles arcade, Chip ´n Dale Rescue Rangers, Blaster Master, Super Mario Bros., Bubble Bobble, Metroid, Talespin...

All these games I had were NES games which often didn´t work. I think that is why I can´t get them out of my head. I loved them.

The two old games I'll always have in mind:

Gunstar Heroes: One of the first Sega Genesis/Megadrive games that I ever owned AND loved. Running and gunning and total insanity still own my very soul.

Duck Hunt: Oh come on! You NES gamers know what I'm talking about! ...Though I liked shooting that smart-aleck dog more than the ducks themselves...

Definetely Banjo-Kazooie. I used to rent the first all the time, and I played the second one religiously. Others include Sonic 2 and Sonic Adventure, Starfox 64, and Pokemon Blue.

You think more people would have mentioned this game since it very commonly bundled with Super Mario Brothers in the same cartridge. And like almost everyone with an NES owned it too. :yuusaku:

Funny enough, I never actually owned neither the original SMB or duckhunt. I'm not sure why, but no games were bundled with the console....

Secret of Mana. It was a great game that gets overshadowed by its crappy sequels and it's big, brother, the Final Fantasy series. Every SNES owner who likes RPGs should have this, Secret of Evermore nad Breath of Fire II in thier collection.

Bloody Roar 2 (think X-Men, but with furries)

Back in Primary (Grades 1-5 for Americans, I think), this was a game that united all of the Gifted Education Programme kids (yes, I was actually placed in a government-sponsored accelerated learning programme. We chosen based on how we could discern patterns. It sucked ARSE).

My friend held a BIG birthday party and got all 3 of the GEP classes together. Then he started up his PlayStation and put this game in. I don't know why, but we just got HOOKED. We found characters that somehow fitted each of us. I myself, was Long the Tiger (naturally).

We lined up and matched off again and again. I like to think we sympathized with the characters in the game. The GEP class was always ostracized from the others back in the day (we had our own separate building =/ Psychological damage to this day peeps)

Spent 6 years in that programme...just got out of it some 3 years ago (I was one of the few who got in on first streaming and went through the entire course) Never forgot the game that united us (even now, we sometimes play the new versions although there's something nostalgic about BR2).

Btw, you can find a Wikipedia entry about us, heh.

It's from an unreleased game for the Sega CD, Penn & Teller's Smoke and Mirrors. A copy made its way onto the internet a while ago, so you could probably find it if you look...

Here's a short description of Desert Bus:

Quote:
Desert Bus is the best known minigame in the package, and was a featured part of Electronic Gaming Monthly's preview. The objective of the game is to drive a bus from Tucson, Arizona to Las Vegas, Nevada in real time at a maximum speed of 45mph, a feat that would take the player 8 hours of continuous play to complete, as the game cannot be paused.

It's not a real game, but rather a prank; when I posted in this thread I was hoping that someone else would get the joke.

Mine would actually have to be the original Paper Mario. It was the first game I ever completed and I love it to pieces.
If I had to pick an older one, it'd have to be Donkey Kong Country or Street Fighter.

it will be the best plataform game series forever!
in psx of course. the rest suxs
well, but if we talk about old games... nes and that type of, the old old old super mario vs donkey kong xDD
i like the game hella lot, but the one of 1982 (plus or minus)
and, coming back to the 90's, final fantasy VII is one of the best games ive ever played
without counting tekken 3, the best of the saga, better than the 1, 2, 4, and 5 (as my opinion :shoe:)

Everything listed here goes for me as well. Even Wave Race, which I never owned but I recall I played right before a surgery when I was a kid and it calmed me down a bit.

Also, Jedi Knight Dark Forces II is still in my eyes the god of first-person shooters. :javado:
