@76_trombone - Bascially after a while of buying stuff in Nook's shop, he upgrades. Same thing for all the upgrades.

@ButzPuff - Ah, thanks :D Hopefully I'll make more monies with my Silver Shovel then.

Well, there's only a 10% chance per hit that you'll get an increase in how much comes out of the money rock. You'll know if it works as you hit the rock, as there is a "sparkling" effect for about a second that appears when it works. I believe the most I made from it is about 13000 Bells, as I was lucky enough to get it on that last big bag, which turned into 8000 Bells alone. It's not a very dependable method overall, but it's nice for the chance at getting a little more than usual.

Phineas appears at around 9 A.M. by the fountain, and only on sunny days. His appearance is entirely random.

Earlier this week, I saw Gracie in the Gracie Grace store. I talked to her, and she said she liked my 'captain' style clothes, but my haircut and shoes didn't match. Today, I saw her again, and I happened to be wearing the 'astronaut' clothes. Remembering what she said before about my shoes, I went outside and had Kicks shine my shoes to match my style. I ended up with blue shoes. I headed over to Harriet's and got a haircut and colored it blue to match my clothes. Then I went back into Gracie Grace and talked to Gracie. She said she really liked my style, and would give me a 10% discount on everything in the store "for a limited time." Realizing I didn't bring enough bells with me, I headed to the Auction house to access my Gold Card from the storage. I headed back to Gracie Grace, and the items were no longer on sale. I was planning on buying the entire Gorgeous Furniture set too. Guess I really have to remember my Gold Card whenever I head to Gracie Grace.

Spoiler: Saw Gracie in the Gracie Grace Shop

You're probably not planting them in the right place. Coconut trees only grow in areas where the grass meets the sand. Not directly on the sand, and not directly on the grass, but the exact space where they meet.

If that doesn't work, you may have too many trees in your town, though I doubt you'd hit the 400 tree limit without noticing.

So THAT'S why my two Coconut trees failed to grow. Thanks for the info. XD

As for me, I have a 2nd stage house (haven't paid off the 120k bells yet), but in WW I have a 3rd stage house.

One of my little brothers got the invitation to Redd's place, but I'm still trying to get it. XD

No Friend Code or anything yet, I have yet to hook up my Wii to my wireless internet. I'll probably do it soon, though.

@Blademaster_Orca - Awesome, thanks for the info! No wonder I've not seen him, I'm never up at 9am XD

@Xero Wright - You get the Silver Shovel from Mr Resetti in the City. Basically, around 8-9pm, head to the far right beside the road, where the cones are. Most of the time they'll be blocking the path. But, if you're lucky enough, one time the cones will be unblocking the path and a light will be coming from the tunnel. Go in and talk to Resetti, he'll give you the Silver Shovel ^_^

In your town, Randomly when you talk to one of your Neighbors they will say that they will ask if you know about Redd's, and if you say "no" they will say they will send you an invitation, and when you recieve the invitation, go to the City, go to Redd's (make sure you have 3000 bells for a one-time membership fee) and there you go!

I'm gonna join in with the question asking again ^_^ - Does anyone know how long it takes the grass/snow to come back, so it's not dirt anymore? I could've sworn I've not walked on this bit of snow in my town for at least a week, and it's still complete dirt. I heard planting trees and flowers help, but that seems that's only because you can't walk on trees :P Flowers don't seem to help me either (I tend to walk through them most times haha). Does anyone know?

Honestly, I can't answer it with a 100% answer but I'll give it my best shot based on what I know. It should take about 6 months for a patch of grass to grow back if it's not ran on, at all. If you have trees or flowers, it would take a couple of weeks instead (and you still can't run on it.) Remember, Running kills grass but walking doesn't. Admittingly, people don't seem to like this whole grass disapperance phenomenon.

Has anyone gotten a Modern End Table yet? I still need it. And kinda badly considering I wouldn't have access to game for a unknown amount of time within a week. While I can't come over to your town as I play really late at night, we can mail each other the items if we have each others friends codes. If you need an Item ask for and we could trade. I have Arwings and Master Swords if interested.

Also, Orca is looking for a Gorgeous Table and Gorgeous Floor. Make a deal with him if you can. Our GracieGraces's are completely sold out of items.

Finally, One of my favorite little CF pictures:

@ButzPuff - 6 months?! I can't wait that long XD And, um... I don't run half the time, and my grass still seems to die. I read that walking doesn't make it into dirt, so when I got the game, I made it my task to walk in places I didn't want it to die... It still did :s Hmm, I'll keep an eye out on the spots I still have healthy snow/grass, see what it does when I walk on it, and not run.
Anyway, thanks for telling me Puff ^_^

Just played some online, and got the Pilot Shades I've waited for to be sold! I never took them off in the duration I had them on AC:WW I loved them so much :D

Oh noes double post but whatever.

I heard a while ago that a Pikmin hat accessory was only available in Japan, yet, a couple of days ago I got one in the post, from Nintendo. So did my secondary character. So did a friend, who's not in Japan. I was wondering if anyone else has got this? It shocked me that I got it as I read it was a Japan only thing.

Plus, and update of my last post - My grass does grow back with flowers help, although to get to dying flowers, you have to walk on them slowly... which slightly kills your grass -_-; But, it's really better than nothing.

There is a petition going around about that you can sign about something being done about the grass being fixed, but I don't have the link <_<; Youtube might have it, think that's where I found it first.
Aaaaanyway, I'm done now.
PS - When the heck does the snow go? Middle of Feb and it's still around XD I wanna see what my grass looks like already.

City Folk/Lets go to the City is like the best aspects of the previous games put together with some extras thrown in. If you liked Wild World you'd probably like this too, but don't expect it to be too different of an experience.

City Folk is pretty much like Orca said. It's a lot like Wild World but there is enough changes and add-ons to be a unique game to the series. Personally, I LOVE City Folk and highly reccommend it to anyone interested. Plus, wouldn't it be nice to have another town with different neighbors and different items? It would be like living a second life. :larry2:

Is it just me or is the Animal Crossing on the Gamecube the most fun?

I enjoyed City Folk a lot more than I enjoyed Wild World, but neither of them have the same charm as the gamecube one did. City Folk is really close...but the lack of being able to ask to do favors (Which was my favorite part) and no character portraits, as well as using the same music from Wild World (Which I did not enjoy, I only liked 1 or 2 tunes) makes it less fun.

I'm NOT saying it's a bad game, because it's quite enjoyable, but I was hoping it would be better than the original. Actually, it would be, if they put the ability to ask for favors and the backround music being beautiful/fun. If they make a 4th one, I hope that they will do this.

I completely agree with you. The original just had more to do because you could ask to do stuff for the animals in your town and it felt like you actually were friends with them. In the newer ones, I keep having the same conversation with my neighbors that it just gets so flat and boring. I'm also not saying that the new ones suck, I just like the first one better. :garyuu:

I especially liked the song that used to play at 1:00 PM. Hooray for cats!

I got most fruits, I think, from a friend now. Still working on my ideal home, while lately I haven been going to the 7-Eleven just for the exclusive items they have been giving away via their WiFi hot-spots ^^' It's really amazing how many people play this game though, almost everytime I get surechigai (StreetPass I think?), they're playing Animal Crossing.
