Is it a survival game or a survival horror game? Because if it's the latter, then you're doing the game a disservice by simply judging it based on someone else's playthrough. "What's the story" is supposed to be the main appeal, not something that's explicitly told. This might enlighten you.

I don't know. All I hear or see from people is "It's in an early Alpha stage" and "The way I got it, I think, is the story is that you have to survive on this island for as long as you can". Not much seems to be known about the game. Part of me always wonders about the first sentence, like, why are they even releasing the early Alpha of the game when it's nowhere near finished? Okay, they probably need money, but still... if you don't have the cash to bring a semi-decent alpha/beta out before asking for money from potential customers, I don't think you have any business to be making a game.

Yeah the paid Mii games on 3DS are made by independent companies and are pretty competent.

I can't wait for The Evil Within to come out in October. The game looks amazing and I can tell its gonna be a horror game that the survival horror franchise finally needed since there hasn't been a good one in ages.

Im so glad also that Shinji Mikami is handling the game.

I'd be lying if I didn't say that I got the PS3 and the Sly Cooper games. But I really did get the PS3 and the Sly Cooper games. Looking forward to having a blast from the past by playing Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus, once I get my PS3 all set up.

So after playing LoL for a while, decided to give Dota 2 a try.

Yeahhhhhhhh, not a fan. It definitely looks nice, but everything else about the game feels ultra-clunky, especially the camera; I died hardcore in my first beginner bot game mostly because the fucking camera kept sweeping all over the place. I finally figured out how to lock it on my character after sifting through the garbage on the GFaqs board (judging by what I saw there, Dota 2 has pretty much the worst elitist asshole community EVER), but yeah, think I'm going to stick with LoL.

Have you taken my advice and everyone else's to start off small that way you can get more experience for your resume. I was like you before where I couldn't get a job to save my life but then i took someone's advice and looked for something small that could help so I took a seasonal job at UPS and from there I began building my resume and now i have a better chance at finding a job than before. It also helps to have someone who you know that has a job and can recommend you. Thats how I got my job now at the Japanese Cafe.

Of course I'm trying to for small, simple places. I am applying for the lowest form of jobs you can get in Munich - as an Aushilfe/Temp. Counts as a Geringfügige Basis/Mini Job, meaning that I have no clear assigned scheduled hours, I get called in when necessary and the maximum amount of money I get in a month would be 450€. Which doesn't necessarily mean I'd make that much in a month. That money also has no taxes on it, but it also doesn't pay into my retirement fund.

And same problem as before. Nobody is hiring me. I even apply for positions that are offered via a Temp Agency, and even they won't take me. *shrug* I fucking hate this economy... the only job my mother could maybe recommend me for is a receptionist at her Co-Op Law Firm, but even that might not work out.

being pessimistic doesn't help out at all. I say take that chance and ask your mom to get you a recommendation to that job.

No, the main problem is that her firm heavily frowns upon family members being hired. I was only allowed to help out once for a week when one of their workers was sick and they needed someone fast to do some secretary work. It's not a fact that I'm being pessimistic, I am being realistic about their rules.

I don't blame them, in fact I'm impressed they have that policy.
It flies in the face of "It's not what you know it's who you know" which runs rampant in the world these days.

Well you should look for a internship as soon as possible and don't be picky about it especially since you need to build your resume.

I'm not being picky. I'm just applying to places where I CAN work - ie. not work in a doctor's office as a nurse, since I have no legal credentials. And the final hurdle is still not getting hired. So really, I dunno what else I can do to make this go any faster.
Wait, why do I sound like I'm arguing with my mom...

Btw in Symphonia I got the damn Strategist title and One World weapon for Genius from that dumb Red Light Green Light minigame. Meaning I don't have to do it again because screw that thing. Also wandered around Nifleheim for about 2 hours, maxed all of Kratos' cooking, got some titles and REALLY was hoping to get a candle that gave me the option to leave the dungeon without dying. I finally got it on Level 14 out of 20. *sigh*

Grand Theft Auto V is one of the games that has glitches that you will certainly get a laugh out of. VanossGaming and his friends has videos of these glitches and boy do I find it funny.

In Symphonia, I've spent almost 10 Hours off and on in Niflheim over and over. I got up to Level 15, but then the stupid Living Armor kept doing 2000+ Damage to my party, so I decided I can't do all 20 Floors until I either have higher EXP gain on NG+ or I grind for Red Herbs to get a shit ton more HP.

I don't know what level you're at right now, but having at least lvl 85 is necessary for taking on the final bosses. Did you get 2x or 10x exp as a grade reward in NG+, because that makes things terribly easier.

The PS3 version, this is a first playthrough. I'm trying to do as much as possible so I won't have to redo it when I am not on the Kratos route. I know for sure that I'll keep Niflheim open until I have at least Kratos at Level 100, so I have all his titles.

My party is currently Level 80. And I've done Niflheim on a 1st Playthrough before.

I'd go for the Sly Cooper HD Collection, because, believe me, you'll have a blast playing the games.

Anyway, I'm still on the A Starry-Eyed Encounter chapter of Sly 2: Band of Thieves. And since I want to complete the game so I can move onto Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves, I would have to complete the job, Ballroom Dance Party. But there is that part when you have to dance to complete the job and it is kinda like Simon Says. Knowing that I have trouble with Ms. Rudy's boss battle in the first Sly Cooper game, I might fail the job because of that. Any advice would be nice.
