Lucky you.

I tried my birthday, June 25, 1995, so I came with the number 264. Get ready for the most awesomest Birthday Pokemon ever. You'll all be jealous.

I got........Linoone. (I was really hoping to get Aron, cause that's my real life name. Correct spelling too. I'm only 40 away, maybe if you added 40 to the result, I'd be happy. XD)

Attract is pointless on Gardevoir when it can learn Confuse Ray. Attract only affects half (less than if you include genderless) the opponents out there, Confuse Ray is 100% accurate. Infatuation only stops them from attacking, confusion stops them and makes them damage themselves. Some people might not care enough to vary genders in Shoddybattle, but most enemies will keep whatever gender they catch their Pokemon with unless it hinders it, so Gardevoir being female doesn't make its chances any better than it being male.

The only time you should pick Attract over Confuse Ray is if you're pairing it with Confuse Ray as an annoyer to stop the opponent from attacking, and Gardevoir has better purposes than to annoy.

Actually, Attract has one advantage over Confuse Ray - it doesn't run out till they switch. But the unpredictable gender thing makes it less useful. Unless you're fighting a known team. Otherwise, TWave is basically the more reliable equivalent [except ground and a few electric Pokemon obviously], I think Gardevoir learns TWave by TM. Though Attract/Confusion can be combined with other status... depends on your team.

After E4:

-Listen to Oak's Radio Show daily for Pokemon Swarms
-Luvdisc Swarm
-Take a Covet/Thief using Pokemon fishing for Luvdisc
-I think the hold rate of Heart Scale is 50%. At least, it was back in RS.... use Covet/Thief on each one you fish up
-Compoundeyes Pokemon in the front of your party will make the hold rate even higher.

You can also get heart scales from breaking rocks, although it's very rare (I broke about 100 rocks and only found one, so... =/)
I can never be bothered to listen to Oak's radio show for swarming. It seems to me like nothing ever happens, just Oak blabbering on about how Magikarp and Rattata can be found on every route. Plus that music is so annoying (and it's the only music that annoys me in this game, seriously). Do trainers still call you up for swarms, or is it just from the radio show?

My birthday Pokemon is Skiploom. I didn't mind it in GSC, but it just looks really creepy with those glowing eyes...

9(September)*8+19+94 = 185, which would be Sudowoodo.

I guess I'm going to catch all of those dogs tomorrow... I have to go to Suicune at route 27, because when I was there last time, I didn't have a Pokémon with cut in my team.

Just from the radio show. I don't think you start getting swarm notifications until you beat the Elite Four, but I'm not sure. I've had one every day I've checked for about a week, though.

How can you tell if your pokemon has full happiness? My eevee's "hugging" me every time I talk to it... but it hasn't evolved into Umbreon yet. In diamond, there was the Happiness Poketch app, which made it really easy, but I'm just kind of stuck.

And, what moves should I teach it once it evolves? (Yes. I've been playing pokemon since RBY, and I still fail.)

The woman in the house north of the bike shop in Goldenrod will tell you how happy your lead poke is. 'It looks really happy! It must love you a lot!' is max happiness.

Can't help with moves since I don't know how to raise an Umbreon myself. There was a bit of discussion about it a few posts back, though.

My Friend put her starter in her pokewalker...and shes lost it. lol.
Out of Pity, I'm going to breed her a Cyndaquil, but seeing as shes at Olivine, that wont help much...a lvl.1 cyndaquil. Might get it to 16 for her so she has it a bit easier.

Current team:
Spoiler:
Typhlosion
-Rock Smash
-Flamethrower
-Blast Burn
-Eruption (I max'd PP on this & blast burn so its 8 PP)

Kingdra
-Surf
-WaterFall
-Hydropump
-Dragon Dance

Ampharos (Im really dissapointed about ampharos, i had to use HMs on her to progress. I will make her forget them though.)
-Strength (Will become ThunderPunch)
-Discharge
-Rock Climb (Will become Thunder Wave)
-Signal Beam

Murkrow
-Pusuit
-Nasty Plot
-Night Slash
-Fly

Froslass
-Protect
-Hail
-Ice Beam
-Blizzard
(I Love my froslass. with her snowcloak and protect, it gets kind of hard to land a hit on her)

Sunflora
-Cut (will be sunny day)
- Energy Ball
- Razor Leaf
- Leaf Storm
(Also, can a Sunflora learn magical leaf without TM?)

Doing nothing really at the moment. Leveling up at Mt. Silver ready for the double battle with Clair and Lance, its so painful to level them up.

Here's a tip: Don't bother teaching HMs to any of the Pokémon you plan to main, except for Surf and maybe Waterfall and Strength. Every other HM should be used on a slave Pokemon like Furret for Cut and Rock Smash and any water Pokémon barring Wooper or Quagsire for Whirlpool. Just swap out one Pokémon in your party for however long you need to use the HM.

^^ I was around level 30-ish when I defeated Clair, but I'm seriously underlevelled too... Don't worry about it too much. There really isn't much reason to grind for most of G/S/C - once you get into the higher levels, most Pokemon go down in one hit. (Except for FRICKING Kingdra, which I just Perish Song-ed to death).

Don't give Thunderpunch to Ampharos. It's crap. Discharge will be more than enough to make up for an electric attack. If you want another attack, go with a good special move that can take advantage of its high Special Attack, not it's crappy low Attack stat.
On April 3, 2016, Court Records Forums experienced a miracle upon that day.

So I found out that you can get your friends to appear in the Viridian City Trainer House by connecting Pokewalkers. I thought I'd try it out, but I thought it'd just make the currently stored Pokewalker Pokemon as the team you fight against, so I put my Latias in it. Little did I know that the Pokewalker remembers your currently held team!
While my friend was around level 30 (which wasn't scaled to 50), he had his main team. What did I have in my team at the time? My Pokemon catching Smeargle with Spore and False Swipe, my Ludicolo which I carry around as a mascot, and my Fly and Surf HM slaves.

I went down having just my Ludicolo and my HM slaves, thinking I could take on just his one Wobuffet (which he had in his Pokewalker at the time). I went down and he had his full team on him! But he was underlevelled while my Ludicolo was 50, so I got cocky and decided to beat his whole team with Ludicolo alone.

I beat his Dratini, Togetic and Gyrados.. Gastly came out just as my Substitute faded, and it used Curse. That completely destroyed my strategy, as I was recovering 1/6th of my health while losing 1/4th each turn. Beat his Gastly, and my Ludicolo used Toxic then fainted the next turn on Ampharos, his second-to-last Pokemon. All I had left was a level 50 Smeargle, my 14-17 HM slaves Farfetch'd and Psyduck, and a level 20 Onix I had caught just moments ago. Switched to Smeargle to set up and False Swipe his Pokemon to 1 so Toxic would finish it off, but it used Thunder Wave and paralyzed my Smeargle. He sent out his Typhlosion last, and all I was going to Spore it but he went first and finished off my Smeargle. You can guess how the rest went, OHKOed both my HM slaves and my Onix.

Lesson learnt. I will never be cocky again.

Serves him right for cheating the system. But Magikarp can own if you train it well, as previous videos have shown...

Oh yeah, maybe I'd better mention the 'vitamins' you'd want to feed the future Umbreon are HP UP and Zinc and/or Iron. There's NO point in raising Umbreon's speed or attacking stats, it's a tank. Make it really slow and use a move like Assurance or Payback to take advantage of its slowness... It has a far better base SpDef than Def, but you may want to improve the physical Def instead to make it more generally durable, since the SpDef will be quite high even without EV training. Def boosting moves are also useful, but you'd have to breed Curse.

Here's the Umbreon I have now:
Umbreon@Leftovers/Careful 252Hp 252 SpDef
Charm
Curse
Assurance
Wish

Rest would probably be better than Wish, because it means it can recover from status, [and you want it statused for Synchronise] but I wanted a team player.

It can Heal Bell by tutor now, too! Looks like a great option, heal its own status AND the team!
Level up set w/no breeding/tutors? Hmm, well Confuse Ray's always good, Toxic, Protect, Rest, even Attract, Substitute. I wouldn't leave it with Toxic as the only damage-dealer though, especially with those stupid Full Restore-using gym leaders. Assurance is probably the best basic damage move, 100 power if slower. I would NOT use Last Resort due to the low PP.
Taunt-Sucker Punch could be interesting, actually. Probably best combined with Curse and a recovery move.
Definitely want to hold Leftovers or possibly Lum berry [esp. with Rest]

Yawn is also amazing on Umbreon, but I think it's an egg move. And it can Baton Pass, but without egg moves it can't Baton Pass much but a Mean look, which isn't so good in-game. I'm thinking Wish-Heal Bell would be an excellent combo now we can get it, but I haven't tried it.
Other weird options:
Yawn-dream eater.not bad, but has the danger of not being able to make PKMN with another status sleep. And you can inflict the status yourself with Synchronize. Needs another damage move in the set.
Swagger-Psych Up - Very Risky. Can work great in-game if you use it on a known Special Attacker. Curse is so much better.
Umbreon can actually use Double Team effectively, IF combined with something like confusion. The Swagger-Psych Up-Double Team - Damage move Umbreons in the Battle Factory are actually quite good till they run out of PP

Um... no egg moves and no tutors?
How about
@Leftovers
Confuse Ray
Toxic
Assurance
Protect/Rest/Substitute
Moonlight isn't so good due to the low PP. Wish is far better... Moonlight-Heal Bell might not be so bad a combo.

Basically if a pokemon has a Choice Item equipped, it can only use one move (that you pick) as long as it's on the field. This means if you are using a Choice Band Tyranitar and going on an Earthquake rampage you cannot use anything but EQ until you switch out said Tyranitar, or it faints and you revive it again somehow.

Sorry I am not very good at explaining things

EDIT: In case you didn't know:

Choice Band ups the attack of a pokemon.
Choice Spec increases the special attack.
Choice Scarf increases the speed.

All to very high levels.

So how do the Choice items work? I'm kind of confused by the 'one type of move' part.

A Pokemon wearing one of the Choice items (Band, Specs, Scarf) may use one move only.

Here's a simple example: Say you have a Modest Alakazam and teach it the moves Psychic, Shadow Ball, Energy Ball, and Focus Blast. If you equip it with the Choice Specs and you decide to use Psychic, that is the only attack you may use until it faints or you switch it out.

It may sound like wearing a Choice item severely limits your attacking capacity, but the trade-off is that your stat will increase by 1.5x. Choice Band increases your Attack stat, Choice Specs increases your Sp. Attack stat, and Choice Scarf increases your Speed. They're heavily valued in competitive play where a well-placed attack can OHKO an opponent even if you don't type trump them, or allow a Pokemon like Heracross to out speed faster threats like Salamence or Zapdos.

Ugh, I lost in a battle against my friend today, quite miserably as a matter of fact. Damn Stealth Rock. Although I probably would've stood more of a chance if I had EV trained my team like he did...
