I still suck at this game so bad.

I can't even beat anything on normal mode, and I barely finished the Subspace Emissary on Easy Mode. I still had a hard time with Tabuu. :/

....It's not an especially hard game though I wouldn't beat yourself up with Tabuu he can be tricky with that weird wing forcefield attack but I think you can block it and survive.

Not the roll, though
You gotta dodge like when you stand still.

You mean aerial dodge or sidestep?

I swear I blocked it once. Smashed my shield and left me stunned....but didn't send me to my doom.

I mean like sidestep, you gotta do it in a certain pattern, but once you got it right it is very easy to dodge.

The only thing I found to block the wave things that works 99.9% of the time is switching Pokemon with the Pokemon Trainer.

Meta Knight's Down B also sometimes works.

The only problem is timing. And has anyone else gotten the Taboo trophy? That's the only way I beat him. Because I get in over my head and always go on intense mode. And I made it once and only once.

I... have the Taboo trophy. The one where you get it from the trophy stand.

And the wave takes practice. Maybe I should run through the SE again.

And I just got the 'Opening (Melee)' CD, so where can you find it in My Music?

Menu music options... The stage music options screen has a menu screen for music playing on the menu and... Wait do you mean for when you look at the main menu? (Wi-fi, single player, multiplayer, etc.) Or do you mean sound test?
(I don't know what you're talking about since I don't screw with the music at all :P)

The one where you can fiddle around with which music plays on your stages more.

It's not in the Brawl stages or the Melee. Idk, I'll have another look, since I might have missed.

Yea in the brawl stages section there should be a picture of the main screen, and choose it, and then pick your music!

Wait you don't tinker with the music at all?

But there's so many awesome tracks you can make play.

I know, but whenever I customize anything, whether it's music for a stage, or my computer, or anything else it ends up in a huge failure on multiple levels.

Post subject:  Re: Super Smash Bros Brawl

Listen it's not like your hacking new music into levels.

The 'My Music' thing is an included feature. This should explain it well.

You more or less increase the likelihood (which can go to 0) of a song occuring after unlocking it.

The only downside is that you can't play any track on any level but I think that gives some of the levels a certain level of exclusivity making me wanna play them more.

Example: The traffic in F-zero's Port Town Aero Dive is a pain and the stage is often a bit small for four players when the track is moving but GOD DAMN the music blows all those minor inconveniences outta the water.

Also why does everyone seem to like Final Destination so much? When I played online was voted a lot but I find it boring.

It's highly favoured as there is nowhere to hide, run or no weird stage features ( Example = Pokemon stadium's wild change of stage with the different types dominating )

Tch! I'm quite fond of stage gimmicks but then again I dislike how serious people can get with playing it's more a game for fun for me.

Though Pictochat is worse as you can get trapped in boxes sometimes.

Eh.

Found the 'Opening (Melee)' in My Music. It's Final Destination.

Did some playing, and found out that all my mains and alts changed around while I didn't play. So apparently, my mains are Bowser, Snake, and Wolf. Alts are Link and Toon Link.

Hotel Dusk got only one page in my sticker book. ;;

Now this is a story all about me,
And how I kick ass so easly.
Now sit down cuz I can tell you're new
And I'll tell you how I killed a fag named Tabuu.
In the all star battle I always train,
Set it to brutal for the maximum pain.
Smashing face, farting, Killing them all,
Blowing them away when I got the smash ball
Till a butterfly came he was up to no good!
Saw my awesome power and misunderstood
He got one little life and thought he was tough shit
Saying "I'll let you off easy if you give up and quit."
I though for a second and said "Tabuu Please,
I'll let YOU live if you get down on your knees"
He delivered a blow that could destroy a star.
But he had forgot that I knew of Midair Down R
I dodged his attack and farted in his face
And he exploded as I flew into space,
I screamed "yo homes don't be a hate-a!
No one stands against Mayaβ"

Higher tier characters make things boring anyway.

If I had my way everyone would run on random to keep things interesting

I play on random sometimes, if I can't decide...but the thought of getting Ike, Link or Marth puts me off. I can't play as people with swords...

My characters of choice: Zero suit samus, Ness (Lucas to a lesser extent), Zelda/Sheik, Luigi and sometimes Peach...but her final smash sucks. Seriously.

But Ness is my pro. He was my first choice when I first got melee, and i never looked back.

I never had a spot of trouble with Starfox's Up B.

In fact Wolf's up b is like my favourite of his special attacks since if you hit the opponent with it you get a nice powerful kick at the end.

It's always been their > B that kills me.

The Starfox crew aren't bad for me, personally. I like Falco the most...and none of their moves seem bad to me.

And I like pressing A and holding down the control stick with peach, so she's floating just above the ground. It might make you weaker to attacks, but her aerial attacks are stronger, I think.
