Absolutely not. You linked that page and told us all to donate to a "worthy case", I question not only the ridiculous promises but also the quality of their work so far, and you respond by telling me they're being voiced by a random youtuber with 33.000 subscribers yet less than 2000 viewers per video as if that would magically make the game good.

Answer my questions now. Why is this important to you? Why should any of us care? Would you please address the numerous issues I have with this project?

And the numerous of issues we've addressed? The lack of a programmer, the tiny budget, the poor script, the bad voice acting, the overhyped promises? How does any of this even begin to show potential? Why can't you at least try to debate me?

Thane, just drop it. Anthony can believe in the project if he wants. He made a post in general in the thread (not directed at you specifically or anything), and asked you to stop it; you don't need to continue to drill your point in, you've already made it, and demanding Anthony to justify the project really accomplishes nothing.

But to add my two cents... Yeah, I have some doubts about that game. If it can get made and does deliver everything it promises, I think that would be absolutely amazing. But while it has some big names (or, er, a big name, at least), the developers seem like they could be biting off more than they can chew, and the page is full of what could very well be empty rhetoric.

...For some reason, I'm reminded of The Last Story a ton.

I'm reminded of numerous 'dark' protagonists who hate the world and a billion other types of games. It's not really a game I think I'd like the sound of as it riles on the whole "Dark Loner" hero from the sound of it who kind of hates the world but saves it anyway (Yes I suppose this means I don't like Batman much).

Though hey I wish them the best of luck because it's nice to see people's dreams fulfilled but it doesn't get my vote.

I'm going to hold onto this line Anthony :P Because I think I can absolutely throw this back in your face in future arguments. It's good to practice what you preach and I don't think you are quite open-minded about games enough to use that statement honestly.

It's probably the "story" in the title, and the gorgeous visuals with junk cliche story (even if we don't know if Amarinthine Story's story is junk cliche yet)

Eh, it kinda loses its charm when you have to save and quit for two days until you can look up the guide at home. I had been playing it at my grandma's house, and she doesn't have internet.

I'm considering doing an LP of Crusader Kings II in the future--probably not anytime soon, though. Of course, choosing who to play as kind of becomes an issue; depending on my country and religion, gameplay can change dramatically. There are three options I'm currently leaning toward, though I've also considered other options.

The first playthrough I'm considering is a custom Catholic ruler in Scotland. As a Catholic, I'd be in a position to participate in the crusades--there's also the delicious irony of Scotland conquering England to consider. My only real concern would be what to do after uniting the British Isles. I suppose spreading into the rest of Europe is an option, but something about an island state conquering parts of the mainland just doesn't sit right with me.

The second option I'm leaning toward is a custom Orthodox ruler in the Roman Empire (Byzantine Empire is a neologism; they called themselves the Roman Empire). Restoring the Roman Empire to its former might and mending the schism would obviously be my top priorities, and doing that would let me show off some nice campaigns against Christians and Muslims alike. There probably wouldn't be much suspense, though, considering that Rome starts off pretty powerful.

Finally, I'm considering playing as Rurik (though the transliteration I'm familiar with is Ryurik), the legendary ruler of Novgorod. This would allow me to show off some of the Norse mechanics before switching to Russian culture and the Slavic beliefs. Transitioning to an organized religion would be a top priority, as would be the unification of Russia. The main long-term goal would be surviving and defeating the Mongols, though.

You have my sword views.

I imagine you'd probably find opposition enough to keep coming after your territory once you'd United the British Isles.

Also please make a beautiful tutorial out of it. I keep trying to start games around the UK.

I'm really looking forward to Pokémon ORAS, but I'm currently pondering whether or not it's worth buying Super Smash Bros. to the 3DS. I mean, I'm sure it's going to be great, but I wonder if I won't get more enjoyment out of playing it on a Wii U.

I also bought the Last Federation two days ago. Basically, you're a space hydra and your goal is to unite the entire galaxy. Haven't had much time to play it, sadly, but it seems tough, and there's a lot of things you need to carefully consider before making your move.

I personally didn't hate the case a whole lot... until I did it for the LP and the annoyance just upped itself for some reason...

If it can keep its promise with the small budget, that'd really be amazing. But it does sound like it'll need a whole lot more money for it to realize all it really wants to bring us. But I also think it is trying to give us too much. It's like someone wants to create an original character and makes them a zombie slayer catperson with a vampire half-mother so they're quarter-vampire and have epic powers with their vampness and are also the most popular in school and are valedictorian and what not. Too much at once. I'd rather have less, which is focused, than a large amount of something that could be going anywhere.

Oh in Case 1-5 LP, I recorded that part after the first trial day and I got up to talking to Meekins in the detention center... then I needed a break. His voice is painful (I didn't quite get that simpsons kid voice that keeps cracking) and he annoys me... fuck that game's "second murder". Waste of time.

I know how you feel bro, but in my case you must replace Smash by PersonaQ. About ORAS, I wonder if I should start a comic about this pokémon journey to force me to draw more regulary, even if in the end nobody ever look at it (I'm just that bad as a writter and a drawing person). Right now I'm establishing some rules over my journey (kind of like a nuzlocke but not quite it).

I'm looking at all those amazing games and my wallet... He's scared to death, poor thing...

Oh, The Sims 2. Such nostalgia. I wish I could play it but my saved files won't get into the game and I don't bother to start over again. And I kind of want to give The Sims 3 a new shot, but nope, the booklet with my code is gone. Oh well. No sims for me. :sadshoe:

Lol, the only game where I actually killed someone was in Rollercoaster Tycoon. So what you don't like my park? *Uses her god hand and whoops in the water*, That and the fact that I used to charge 25$ to use the washrooms.

Ah I wish the new game will be that awsome... *Still dreaming, I know it won't be*

Nah you build a huge rollercoaster and crank the speed up to max and just LAUNCH patrons off the end of it.

What's worse is that I really liked killing people in my attaractions by doing these kind of things. Sad that we had to demolish the thing once it killed people. I also used kwando's trick. But I always had to demolish the thing in the end. Man I wish I could still play to this game. Creating your own rollercoaster was fun (and building various kind of parks too).
