Nintendo.fi had a competition in which they also asked, which GC games would you like to see in the NEW PLAY CONTROL -series. Among alternatives there were games like Luigi's Mansion, Metroid Prime, F-Zero GX and so on.

Honestly? No, I don't know of any games I want turned into that. I quit Prime 3 because the motion controls tired me after a while, and I'm used to playing for 4-5 hours on end. Unless the game is short or is very minimal on the motions (like Madden 07 was), I probably won't be playing it very long.
Though I wouldn't mind Kirby Air Ride, if it runs similar to Mario Kart Wii...

Ya, everyone who played Phantasy Star Online Episodes I + II (plus) and Phantasy Star Online Episode III had to modify our GameCubes to go online.
Anyone remember when Nintendo announced that Double Dash, Strikers, and Baseball would be online? I wouldn't be surprised if you didn't, Nintendo actually deleted those announcements from their website.

I saw the Pikmin in a game shop today & it was £30 (BTW I know its cheaper than US price) which I think is quite a rip. You could probably get the original gamecube ver. for maybe £10 or even less. I'm quoting you cuz its safe to say that we both think that the ports are a rip-off.
Oh BTW, those original games you had mentioned before, they sound like fan-made flash games you'd find on Newgrounds.

Because Brawl breaks away from the old style of gameplay, just beating each other up, when the smash ball comes into play, everyone tries to just grab it. Also the obstacles on the stages interfere with the game too much.

You do know that you can turn smash balls off, right? Besides, half of the Final Smashes are easy to avoid anyway, so long as you are fairly good at air dodging!
As for the obstacles, what obstacles? The only obstacles of note are the humungous amount of koopatroopas and sidesteppers on the Mario Bros. stage, and the huge walls of lava on the Norfair stage - all the other stages are practically obstacle free.
Anyway the chances of Melee getting a re-release is about the same as an European earthbound VC release, this year (i.e. very little).

Luigi's Mansion would be a nice game to have around to, but the price would have to be reasonable, seeing how short the game is.
And of course I would use any excuse for playing through the best Zelda game for the tenth time. Bring us the Wind Waker :)

If they really had to change anything for wii, I'd like Star Fox. Actually, instead of making old games for wii they should just come up with new good games. Too many of the games for wii are crap. hey should focus on coming up with new good games instead of having to change old good ones for the wii.

Yeah remakes aren't nessecary unless the game is very rare or it would suit the controls down to the ground...like Pikmin which has been made the simple point and click made things a lot easier but I can't see how for that many games adding Wii controls will be THAT much beneficial.
Must say I'm looking forward to the next 'Storybook Sonic' game, at least Wii still has some original exclusives.
Just to clarify...is it only Wii control it's modified for? No Graphics boost or nothing else?
