I was looking forward to that game. I'm still waiting for Nintendo to put up #3 on the VC. Though I'm not sure if that possible when the last time I checked Splatterhouse was taken down(not sure if 2 is still up there now)

Splatterhouse's not necessarily out of the loop yet. Just under Namco. Chances are, they'll wind up using the base as the method to completion. There isn't necessarily much to worry about lest Bosch get involved and crap-VA the main character. Which is a very unlikely to an impossible scenario.
Anyways. As a WMMT (Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune) player, I honestly actually hold some respect for Namco despite the fact that I can't stand Soul Calibur on the basis of too-easy-lockdown. I'm pretty sure that Namco MIGHT be smart about it and maybe add a little god of war element to the combat considering the fact that using one's enemies as weapons tends to be fairly frequent from what I can tell.

My problem isn't the game in and of itself, but more the dick move they did.
