I just bought My Japanese Coach, and want to get German when it comes out. Has anyone played through one of the My Language Coach games? Are they any good?

I have the My Japanese Coach and so far I'm pretty satisfied with my game. It has lessons followed by several minigames (though I really don't like the whack-a-mole word or whatever game) and the touch screen is really useful for learning stroke order. Now, for other languages, I'm not sure what activities they have, but for the Japanese one they have useful little games like bridge builder, where you have to take the words they give you and form a sentence. The way they explain it is easy to understand and amusing at times... though I haven't gotten very far since I haven't had time to practice on it <_< there's also some neat little trivia about the country occasionally when you get to a new section of lessons.

Long story short, if you want a new source to help you learn a specific language, I'd recommend this series.

The only thing I hate about MJC is when you're learning kana it kept marking me wrong when I was writing it correctly. Plus I decided to learn the kana before I started MJC but learning the stroke order is helpful too I guess. Otherwise I'm doing well on it, lesson 22 or something I'm on now. I try to do 1 lesson a day. You learn something like 10 words each lesson. Verbs are annoying too, you have to keep going back and forwards through the dictionary to find out what vowel goes before the masu/mashita/whatever. They should show that stuff in the lesson I think.
I'll probably get My French Coach at some point, I stopped learning it two years ago but seeing as I'm now going to Paris in the summer I think I should pick up where I left off.

I don't have a language coach game, but I've heard the MJC has a lot of errors, be careful.

After spending time here in Japan and learning Japanese, I want to buy My Japanese Language Coach just to see if it's right with certain things. ^_^ Plus, I still want to practice my Japanese when I get back to the USA, since I plan on hopefully coming back to study Japanese more extensively.

My Japanese Coach isnt that bad. It makes you do a test which then evaluates what you need to learn.
But the voice that says the words can get repetitive..
