Today I almsot died. Guitar Hero World tour (PS2) Okay that gam ewas awesome but one of the stages was weird I saw what looked like a ugly stage with an eye and it changes it was so distracting that I nearly got a 4 star O_O;

Anyway, Guitar Hero went downhill after 2, but I still find some enjoyment with the later games. At least the Metallica one got a good setlist.

It has all kinds of things to do with how the game is handled, the way it looks, the delivery, the execution, the atmosphere, the art direction... Those were all very important in the first two Guitar Hero games. Hatman and I went over this like ... two years ago when GH3 came out and how retarded it was that Slash was going to be in it and we went into huge detail.

probs because neversoft has no music game experience whatsoever and fucked up the note charts, as well as somehow destroying the great art direction and shitting up the graphics of a series that had previously had really smooth looking graphics and great character design. plus their music choices sucked besides a few gems (that were really easy to play)

also I feel the need to point out the fact that the loading messages were originally a very beloved part of Guitar Hero and they kind of fucked that up too.

Although as a real musician I must point out that playing Rock Band drums on Expert can in fact very easily transition into real drums.
