Megaman ZX: Never finished the final boss. Got close loads of times, though... the worrying thing is, I've beaten Omega-Zero, I just can't beat the last dude. Weird, ne?
Viewtiful Joe: Alistor's level has me marked... damn helicopters!
Dynamite Heady: Spinderella. For those who know, I shouldn't have to say more.

Sonic Rush (also on the DS) is just not suited to my style of play. Usually, when I'm faced with too much information coming in, I slow down or stop, and take stock of the situation. This, in a Sonic game, is usually fatal. And I can't just barrel through everything, since my brain doesn't work that quickly.
Gadget Trial (a Japanese game, greatly resembling the Advance Wars games, patched to English, on the PC) will have to wait until I gather up the courage to face down the huge number of units fielded against my puny little E-series task force. I'm only on mission 9 of 20 or so.

Same. And even then, I'll almost always at least complete the main story. Haven't owned a game I couldn't finish to date (again, main story-wise). If any are too tough to pass, I'll just leave the game alone for a few days (months, even years could also apply, depending on other games waiting to be played and such), pick it up and take it calmly, and I usually get through. Otherwise, backing away from the boss to level up, or trial-and-error fighting usually works.

I think you only have to complete 3 and let the timer run out without killing the 4th patient.

I've been past it, but the best I can score is a 9999-point A rank.
Why? I finished all 5 patients in under 10 minutes without Healing Touch, BUT...

No matter what I do, I can't find ways to level up, manage ammo, and the like at the same time! Not to mention there's the simulation of energy and your armor degrades as you take hits.

Score one for Zud. It's impossible to "beat" those classic arcade games. They just get harder and harder until you die. And in Pac-Man, you can only get so far before the game glitches out and becomes nearly unplayable.
