Even though Cherrim has sort of become my little "mascot" Pokemon, my favourites are Eevee, Skitty, and Mewtwo.

Well, in terms of looks, it's definitely Delcatty. I have an army of Delcatty, lol. It was uber hard finding a male Skitty, but I did it. But my favourite Pokemon for stats is Sceptile. Teach him aerial ace and keep his leaf blade, he's practically unstoppable.

I can't decide, so I'll post my favourite from each region.

Kanto - Mew! I've always loved it... The First Movie was my favourite. I remember seeing it in theatres when it first came out... :edgy: And I'm still like teh biggest pokemon fan in my area. Kanto feels like home. If I could live in a video game world, I'd be living in Celadon City with all the shopping ^_^

Johto - Espeon. My favourite Eeveelution.

Hoenn - Gardevoir. Probably teh best non-legendary psychic type, IMO.

Shinou Ugh, I'm still in the habit of using the Japanese translation...
Sinnoh - Gastrodon! THE CUTEST LITTLE THING EVAR! I'm serious.

Orre (I guess it counts for something..) - Teddiursa! I love mine to death. Though he evolved... and he's still my favourite team member.

And yes, Psychic is my favourite type, hands down.

Lemme see... Espeon. Just sheer awesome.
Along with Mew, Richu, Vulpix and finally, my army of Unknown. FEAR IT.

EDIT: @kristophlover967: Agreed. I would live in Kanto. And I remember spazzing over the first movie!

I've got a few.
Quilava, Typhlosion, Vaporeon, Alakazam, Articuno, and Suicune.

New generations don't just cut it for me with the new pokemon. As for living in an area, I'd go with living in Johto as it still has access to some of my favorite generation 1 pokemon. :p

I chose Squirtle. I regret it now because I much prefer Venusaur to Blastoise.

I'm usually a fan of the fire starters myself, but D/P disappointed me as I hated Chimchar. Piplup was so much better.

I'm not really so much of a Pokemon fan now, but I remember the good ol' times, any new Pokemon aren't the same thing as the first 150 ones.
And so, my Geodude, Onix and Charizard beat the crap out of everything(Unless it's water-type, of course :sadshoe:)

Out of the second batch, I preferred Totodile. The only fire starter I've ever liked was Charmander, I didn't really like the rest.
There's not a lot of love for the latest batch out there right now. I liked D/P pokemon much better than the R/S ones, I don't know why though.
Torterra is one of the coolest in there.

Starmie. One starfish is awesome, but this is TWO starfish mutated together! Not only that, but you can teach it to shoot LIGHTNING! If I saw a mutated starfish shoot lightning, I'd run for my life. So, all in all, Starmie rocks. I named mine Homestar.

Well, not exactly my favorite but I can't help but like Pikachu. He was the only Pokemon you could actually bring out and talk to (Pkmn Yellow). That was a fun feature, I kind of wish they retained that >:

I like Skitty the best, I guess. I just like feline Pokemons in general.

I used to have a crush on Bulbasaur when I was younger...

Well, my favorite happens to be Chikorita, if statistics are not counted. Its just adorable!

But for the best of the best, I would say, Groudon, Slaking, Wailord, Sceptile, Kingdra, Blissey, Shedinja, Mewtwo (always have to have it, works all the time except against 5 Umbreon with Maxed Special Attack, Special Defense, Speed, Attack and Defense. :eh?: Come to think of it, nothing WOULD work against that.).

Yeah, That's why Yellow is one of my favorite verisons. Plus, Nintendo did make those Pokemon Pikachu things you clipped on your belt and shake and used to take care of Pikachu. And if he liked you, he did all kinds of tricks like hang-gliding and unicycling. I still have one and actually use it.

They kinda retain that having a Pokemon follow you around thing in Diamond and Pearl for a small park area. However, they only made it to use Cute/Baby Pokemon like Pikachu, Clefairy and (after beating the game) Jigglypuff. It brought up happiness if you did which helped get several evoultions and did allow you get free items like berries from a faux Pick-up ability given by the park.
